Thanks for the kind words everyone. They're very much appreciated. I hope you guys are right, though experience has made me cynical and pessimistic in regards to these kind of matters.

Seeing as I've never met any of her friends, that seems rather unlikely unfortunately.

Indeed, though I think I appear far more confident around her, in person, than I'd seem online and most of the time I'm fairly good at blagging confidence. As I've mentioned before, it's only online or in the company of my best friend that my insecurities come out.

I couldn't do even if I wanted to, there's literally no-one else realistic who I can think of.

 

You'll be fine PL - it is also worth remembering having a girlfriend isn't all it's cracked up to be. I 'chased' my current girlfriend for a long time, she had a boyfriend at this point as well which made it all that more difficult. As happy as I currently am, I long for the day of being able to sit in my boxers and eat peanut butter out of the jar whilst watching The Wire all weekend.

It'll happen when it's meant to happen, don't rush it man.

 

She clearly holds you in high enough regard that she took time for you, even if it took a while. If one of her friends ends up bitching about not being able to find a nice guy, she happens to know one who's looking.

I don't necessarily mean any one person; I mean chasing a relationship, period. The worst thing is not finding someone in short order, it's finding entirely the wrong someone and then, having chased so hard, feeling as if you have to see through something that shouldn't be seen through. As a one-time connoisseur of ill-conceived relationships, I know whereof I speak there.

 

Well, I've just messaged the girl in question. Just said sorry if I made things awkward for her last night and that I completely understand and respect her decision, so she knows that I'm not bitter/holding a grudge/gonna obsess over her over it. Hopefully that wasn't a stupid decision.

Perhaps, though it does seem a lot easier for girls.

I suppose the grass is often greener on the other side, and I guess being in a relationship has it's advantages and disadvantages.

 

She doesn't think that you're an axe murderer because she wants to hang around with you, and as you mentioned she asked whether there was anyone you're interested in. Trust, it's in the mental inventory.

It's easier for them to find someone, because boobs. Not sure that it's easier for them to find someone worthwhile, because dicks. In the figurative sense with the latter. Mostly.

That's true, I prefer to use the bow. Almost silent, longer range and less messy. It could be in her mental inventory I guess, she's literally never asked me if I was interested in anyone before which was quite random. I did for a second think that she asked because she knew that I was interested in her. Ages back, back when she was with her bf, I asked her if she knew anyone who was single and looking but she didn't. Either way, I'm not sure that necessarily means she would think of me even if one of her friends was looking.

Well when it comes to online dating at least, they get so many messages that even if 99% of them are rubbish, just from the sheer numbers there's bound to be someone worthwhile maybe.

Lallana sent these match worn boots, signed and personality altered for hm, to the bloke to auction off. Good provenance too, with the pictures.

Nice touch, thought someone may be interested.

 

I want these sooooo bad, and get paid just before the auction ends. Hmm.
