We are being a bit over run in midfield...they are faster and more mobile. We are struggling to use bale and lennon properly so aint getting anything into the box for adebayor or bale to attack
Totally agree Spursguru. He slows the play down. We need to go for it second half. It doesn't matter if we lose by 5 or 6. Better to have a go and fail trying. I've heard that somewhere before.
I really really want Parker sold this Summer. And Hudd - he's a great passer, but in today's game, you just don't get the time on the ball to dictate like he wants. AVB has to go for it now
What do we do now? Do we keep things as is and hope for a better second half? Or does AVB throw caution to the wind, sub Parker/Hudd for Defoe and go 4-4-2? The risk there is that the midfield becomes horribly exposed (even more so).
We are not out of this by any means but at the moment we are playing with two liabilities in Parker and Hudd. Their lack of mobility and any semblence of marking ability is causing most of the probs at the back. Holtby is having to run himself ragged just to cover for them. Ade has had a really good half - Neville's criticism of him was totally unfounded I thought - and Bale has got to get more involved. If only Walker had a left foot...... and didn't play football suicide at the back!!
