Yes, this is the usual self-indulgent attempt to drive you to the blog (er, from which I make no money), but thereupon lies a slightly expanded version of the following observation and contention: - Mbia has been fined over Monday's tweets - He says he account was hacked... - even though his timeline STILL shows a tweet saying (in French) that it wasn't it - so the club have fined him, effectively, for failing to control his Twitter account! - I think he's lying and continuing to mug Ian Taylor and co. right off: http://thisismyengland.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/mbia-fined-qpr-mugged-off.html
Good news. At least we got some money back before he toddles off in the summer. Hopefully early summer so we don't have to pay him for doing nothing during the off season, like we have paid him for doing next to nothing during the on season.
Mbia has been a liablilty since he joined. He was solely responsible for giving away the cheap free kick that resulted in us getting a draw against Wigan rather than the 3 points we should have had. Get rid!
At times, he's looked like one of the few QPR players to care whether we won or lost. However, he's been caught out and his true (lack of) motivation exposed. He's no good to us if that's how he feels. It's a shame because I hoped that - despite the gangling gait, the play acting, the poor passing, the hopeless shooting etc. etc. - there might have been a diamond hidden away in there that we could have polished to shine in the Championship.
Sadly, you can polish a turd till the cows come home and it'll never shine...
Take it you not seen mythbusters where they managed yo polish turds.
Take it you not seen mythbusters where they managed yo polish turds.
I don't intend to try that...
Coprolite (dinosaur ****) you can polish that, comes up nice n shiny, can even be used a jewellery. Whether it is possible to morph / polish our present bunch of merceneries into anything worthy of the Championship, well that is another challenge.
