Do you feel lucky ?

I don't see what is so great about Martinez. Wigan have had PL money for years now and every one of them they have been fighting relegation. They escaped incredibly last year, but I think their luck will finally run out this year. CH wasn't 'dogmatic' at Newcastle or Birmingham and I don't think he is here either. With new players coming in next year the results will improve (something that has never happened at Wigan). If they don't, then there could be grounds for complaint, but I believe they will.

I'll feel a little bit better if Swansea do us a massive favour and beat Wigan. I'm not holding my breath though...

 

MONDAY 8TH MAY 18:37HRS

Feel a lot better today, if Chelsea beat Villa on Sunday and we beat WBA we are mathematically safe. On the other hand, Wigan MUST win one of their two remaining fixtures against Arsehole or Villa and I can't see them winning either. Therefore we may not need another point ? We should be supporting Spudz tonight so Chelski have that must win game against Villa, also that would mean Arsehole will need to beat Wigan to secure CL spot.

Agreed. Realistically, even a draw should see us safe. But I will not be relaxed until we are mathematically safe!

I hope you don't to! I know it is hard to resist, but couldn't you wait until we are mathematically safe before saying that or you could just be giving a Binner a new signature quote!

I know at least one team who is considerably more **** than us.

 

Spurs equalise at Chelsea, 2-2 with about 10 minutes to go. A draw there would be good for us as it means Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal will all be desperate for points in their remaining games.
