No such thing chief. It's simply the "Premier League". No one calls it "The German Bundesliga" to differentiate it from the Austrian one, do they?
I can understand some frustration in that Moyes isn't a top class manager with the reputation as others i.e. Mourinho, Klopp etc. However, I can understand the logic behind his appointment. Seems to have a similar personality to Fergie and prides hard work and teamwork very highly. In addition, Fergie is on the board and will be like a shadow almost - not many managers such as Mourinho and Klopp will appreciate that and will do things their own way. I see Moyes as an 'understudy' in that he will use Fergie's guidance rather than be threatened by it. This ensure that he won't rock the boat too much and make wholesale changes. On the flipside, questions will be asked about Moyes's tactical ability, ability to manage a big club with big egos and his ability to spot talent.
HIAG, Whilst I agree CpofL is the arsehole of Chelsea, Moyes being SAF's successor has always been a shoe-in. SAF has expressed his admiration for Moyes tactics and management style of years, plus they grew up in the same back yard. As a Chelsea fan I would prefer Mourinho to manage my club instead of Moyes, but you have to think to yourself that if SAF is after Moyes, its because he thinks it will be the best move for Man Utd. Man Utd fans should trust his opinion, its not like he usually lets them down is it.
More people call it the English Premier League. You should know tourist, you and the millions like you living around the world far out number fans in England.
Solksjaer would be the biggest risk no doubt, but I feel he'd also have the most to prove and has already stated that managing United is his dream. He's done amazing work at Molde in two years, but again it's Molde. He's also be willing to work under Ferguson. United is still to early for him I agree, but maybe that's why I'm championing his name? Moyes will be a good fit, but I just feel there's better options available. Regarding AVB, I don't think Chelsea was the right club for him. He needed time to build his own squad and Chelsea had too many players that AVB didn't think we're ideal for his methods. My opinion on that anyways.
Not sure why you're mad at me as apparently the vast majority that call it the English PL are your fans
The only people I have ever seen call it "The English premier league" are a handful of ****wads on this forum. No football fan I have ever met in real life has referred to it as "The English Premier League"
**** off you twat. I have lived in 5 countries on 4 continents since the Prem was formed. I will go by my own actual knowledge rather that some halfwit little Englanders opinion.
Couldn't have put it better myself Of course we should also all remember that this is the same ****wad who claims he knows Russia better than the Russians. Incidentally, the Russians all refer to the Premier League as "The Premier League" and their own top division as "The Russian Premier League"
In the US....http://epltalk.com/premier-league-tv-schedule/ In Austrailian tv listings http://www.foxsports.com.au/tvguide Shall I carry on?
Feel free but it doesn't matter as it originates from England i think we have naming rights. What everyone else calls it is meaningless.
