Reading a report about him earlier and I suspect you may be right about the bargaining tool, but if the owners don't play ball...
There will not be any radical chanes at Man U. The club is already set up soundly, it just won't happen. A new manager and probably new assistant will come in and that will be about it as far as back room staff goes.
Very surprised that the bookies are still taking bets on David Moyes. Money spent on others is wasted cash now. Moyes was supposed to be SAF assistant next season until the heart flutter SAF has had changed the landscape. Also with David Gill(ceo) leaving in July a big sea change is going on at Old Trafford. Wasted Wonga for sure. Some folks have more moiney than sense. Get your cash on Wayne Rooney joining Bayern Munich this summer. Thats the next big story by all accounts.
http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...es-appointed-manchester-united-manager-197137 Talksport already reporting Moyes as the new manager.
SAF has always spoke fondly of Gill, it makes sense for him to bow out at the same time - IMO he should have gone when he won the treble a couple of seasons back.
Apparently it will be Moyes and it will be confirmed in 48 hours, be interesting to see how Moyes does with money.
I think they will though. He has a very good other 9, just no good strikers whatsoever. I fully expect them to spend upwards of £60m on 2 strikers this summer - probably Higuain and AN Other - and clearout Vukinic, Quagiarella, Iaquinta, Matri, Pepe and loans Bendtner and Anelka leaving only fans villain Giovinco who he inexplicably loves. If he can shift all them he'll pull in £30m as it is. He doesnt speak English anyway and I really cant see a club like Utd with a global English speaking audience signing someone who doesnt speak the lingo.
Agreed. Both leaving once the summer transfer business is in place. Not as if SAF is leaving totally like. Even Sir Bobby Charlton has said that its the right time now for him to go.
I like Moyes as a manager, doesn't seem to be up himself like a lot of the others, our manager is like Moyes
First Margaret Thatcher dies, then Sir Alrx Ferguson retires... Somewhere there is a scouser with a lamp and one wish left...
Moyes looks as if he's definitely the front runner for the job. How much do you estimate his salary will increase by?
