Liverpool fans must be celebrating openly. Everton and United both get weaker with him going there.

Don't buy into this "Man Utd have stability" "Long termism" bollocks. 2/3 seasons on the spin below City and no trophies and he'll be gone.

not really .. we are at our top shape , best sport club in world .. we can attract a younger version who will carry the club for longer
how long Sir Alex can be so focused and active? just look how Sir Bobby Robson end up getting a nap at similar age range and lost his magical touch at NU
so we will be having years of domination, don't worry
Sir Alex last master piece of magic is him choosing his successor

And I can go to the US, walk into a random bar and have Mila Kunis, Beyonce and Rihanna queuing up to bed me.

But back to reality... The likelihood is you'll struggle massively and the standards will inevitably drop plus hand your immediate rivals in the table the psychological edge.

All depends on who you get, but no matter who they won't be as dominant in this league as AF has.

    Banned for telling the truth?

You'd probably like me to put an arm round you, tell you Moyes will dominate the league as much as Fergie has and United will win a clean sweep of trophies. The reality is, that isn't the case.

You can't claim Fergie is so great a manager and then pretend he won't be a big loss. Chelsea never recovered from losing Mourinho (as a force in the league) and its taken a while to get back to where we were. United will be no different. Fergie is irreplaceable.

Dont think losing mourinho has anything to do with it. Your club is owned by a ****. You had ancelotti who was a great manager, AVB is proving to be but wasnt given the time. As long as that russain twat owns your lot, you will forever be a bit ****. Added to that Terry an lampard will be one soon so you will lose the heart of the club. You have no real home grown talent with any affiliation to the club. You are just a rich mans play thing..

    not really .. why?
it will actually inject more energy now, and new manager will be dying to win a trophy while we could be more complacent after we win the title this season
whether is Klopp or Moyrs or Jose all are impressive managers who certainly will push the club further for years to come , they will be new Sir Alex who will carry the club for further successful 20 years . Sir alex is not getting younger , and new manager will come with even bigger signings .. is a win win situation

No, it was definitely losing Mourinho that did for Chelsea. Like AVB said today, Mourinho was the only manager who gave Chelsea any real identity or style. Pretty much every manager since then has been using the core of Mourinho's team and tactics, and was utterly reliant on Drogba and Lampard for any success they had.

It says something about how far Chelsea have fallen that their only league title, and only really genuine title challenge, since Mourinho left came in the season after the top two from the previous year both lost their best players and had major financial difficulties.

Abramovich has a lot to do with it, largely due to preventing managers from having any chance to succeed, but Chelsea have been generally going downhill since Mourinho left.

well given our recent pattern, we will be more likely yo be complacent after winning the title
but a new manager will inject great enthusiasm and energy and players will need to gain his trust again, so we will be more fired up

whether is Klopp or Moyes or Jose .. all are great manager who can be as good as Sir Alex and may be more .. is not like Sir Alex was faultless, so sure there is even a chance we will have even a better manager , why changes should be all the time negative? Sir Alex build a great team, and a new manager who will be one of the best around, will not find it hard to carry on and build the new UTD era

Gutted that you're taking Moyes, but wish him all the best, been a great manager for us & he deserves a crack at a club with a decent budget to back him.

bare with him, he'll do a good job in the long term I'm sure.

do you want me to remind you what did you predicted in the middle of season? that City will run with the title and Rafa is a better manager than Sir Alex ,.. now suddenly he is irreplaceable !! WTF? you change opinions faster than a hooker changing her men

Bit different that, you weren't the force you are now and you didn't have a manager like Fergie to be replaced.

The jealousy oozes from you you pathetic **** stain.

Klopp would be my personal choice but I'd happily have Jose just to piss this bell end off.

Whoever we get, we're not going to disappear. Dream on.

    What a load of bollox!!

We lost the title on the final day one season for one (is that not a genuine title challenege?!?!) and the double season we broke the all time PL goal scoring record (therefore hardly like our success was due to others' failures).

However i'd agree Jose made the difference between being a very good side like we've been since he left to a top 2-3 side in europe like when he was there.
