Rio Ferdinand (£30m), Rooney (£30m), De Gea (£18m), Phil Jones (18m), Anderson (£18m), Carrick (£16.5m), Valencia (18m), RVP (£24m) are all excellent academy products much like Bruce, Schmeichel, Van Nistelrooy, Veron, Stam, Yorke and Andy Cole before them

Berbatov wasn't a flop, he was a good player for us, scored 56 goals, scored 20 league goals in the important season when we got the 19 title and has scored important goals in his first season too.
