1-0 to the boys from Wessex. Lambert to score a pearl of a free-kick.

I thought your original post was just an attempt to wind people up in a cheeky way, didn't expect a hostile response to my own dig back!

1-1; Cuellar from a corner, Rickie from the spot.

Can't see where Sunderland are going to get goals from. We should really be beating a side in such poor form, with Fletcher, Sessegnon and Gardner all missing out. A draw will probably do, but I'll be a little disappointed to be honest.

    ---------------Boruc-------------
    --Clyne--Fonte--Hooiveld--Shaw
    ----------Morgan--Cork-----------
    --Rodriguez----Davis----Lallana
    ---------------Lambert------------

I would be tempted to drop lallana but he got into some good areas on Saturday and if he had the ability to shoot would have scored, I am predicting him to come into some form in these last two games as I am sure he realises that he is playing for his starting place and captaincy, due to his poor season. I'd be tempted to bring on puncheon at half if we aren't winning and one of the midfield is struggling, he can be a bit hot and cold but he gives us more potency when he is on the pitch. I think I would prefer to see puncheon start over lallana, but it would be tough on lallana who was good in patches saturday.

Corners, probably. Cuellar and O'Hara are both 6'3"; I'm more than a little worried that they'll win a header and someone will bundle it over the line.

Agree with this. With their injuries and suspensions we should outscore them.

Sunderland looked dangerous from corners but that was about it...in open play only Johnson and Rose showed any ambition to score.
    0-2 is my prediction

Only if we don't do what we did at home, which was to lump the ball continually onto Cuellar's head. We made him look like the best CB in the world that day. Lets get it down, get Shaw and Clyne beyond their full backs and we could destroy them. Ramirez was the only player who looked like doing anything that day.

The Swansea result may serve to remove a little pressure. If we relax we will play them off the park. we need to contend with Adam Johnson mainly. Di Canio is trying to get them to play on the floor which will suit us more than facing a Martin O'Neil side. I will be disappointed if we do not take at least a point from this game.

Will Sunderland have Sessignon back or was it a three match ban?

Yes, I can, where would you like me to take it, there is a small charge involved depending on the destination.

Good stuff. Let's just hope Danny Graham doesn't remember how to score!

With my referee cap on a straight red is not always a 3 match ban. Denying a clear goal scoring opportunity or deliberate handball on the line is a red card and a one match ban.
