I think I've had this argument before? Do you really want people to only support teams from their localities? So what if I live in a foreign country? What does that have to do with anything? I don't even have a local team so should I just not support any team? The Premiership has gotten so much more media coverage here and our own league got none up until about 3 years ago (Not to mention the massive gulf in talent). I've grown up with only Premier League matches on TV and a family of older siblings and relatives who support Liverpool so I don't get your argument? If you got your wish Man Utd and a lot of other teams would be of Irish League standard due to no support = no money. The Premier League probably wouldn't even exist

If anyone fancies a laugh check out Piers Morgan's twitter account, he has ongoing feuds with Gary Neville (who he calls T-bag in a a prison break homage to his tache) and Rio Ferdinand. Joey Barton joined twitter yesterday and waded in as well. I dislike Piers Morgan, but he's fast gaining points for me. I try to be open-minded with regards Utd as bitterness doesn't help anyone, but on average they are by far the most pig-headed fans i've dealt with. Their ideas about football can sometimes be completely baffling but they are more convinced than anyone they are right. I hate the way their players and staff conduct themselves and it is now they who need knocking off their 'perch' (most terrible overused quote of the year?).
