There you go! Fergie is leaving Utd at the end of the week! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...er-United-manager-before-end-of-the-week.html
Thank you Swansea! The only downside of Wigan losing is that this now poses a dilemma. Do we play for a bore draw against West Brom and hope that Wigan lose to Arsenal? Very dangerous game, but everything we've seen so far from CH suggests that he might do this. On the other hand, if we play a more expansive game and lose, then Wigan (even if they lose to Arsenal) only have to beat Villa to finish above us (and Villa will have nothing to play for on the last day). But Arsenal are no great shakes and Wigan could easily pick up a point there. Let's face it, WE should have beaten them without that terrible refereeing decision. Yes, I'm delighted that the Swans did us such a big favour. But Wigan are like the vampire in the movie - not dead until the stake goes through the heart.
Wenger is polishing his mallet as we speak.Wigan will have half a team by then.I think we probably have at least as good chance of a result at Citeh. And all this talk of relying on Swansea is rubbish. They did us a huge favour admittedly and all thanks to them. But really it's no different from (say) Spurs equalising in the last minute at Wigan or from their point of view that lino at The Emirates giving a penalty out of nothing. We do what we do over a whole season not just the last week On the plus side Everton won't be nicking our manager, told you Lambert should have stayed another year!
Of course we are relying on other teams now, who cares as long as we get over the line, and if we don't c'est la vie bring on the cheap pies (that's gonna be my mantra)
