Well that turned out to be a good game in the end, didn't it? So, as things stand, we need a point from 2 games, because Wigan winning both theirs would then put us above Villa, regardless of what else goes on below us. I am going to start believing we're safe now, thanks very much to Swansea.
Still very possible, although Sunderland's GD should see them home. But hey, we can still do our part. Newcastle however don't have that GD luxury. So come on Harry, finally do something for me!
Took missus out for a meal....driving home she was rabbiting on about gardens, friends etc...I screamed "We're safe!"....she doesn't understand that we are SOUTHAMPTON
Just popped onto Swansea's site to thank them. Fans from other clubs got their first...they've made a lot of people happy. They will accept euros.
Alan Shearer and Pat Nevin have Sunderland going down, which pretty much means we'll have a hand in that. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22423706 And before anyone says this link was posted earlier on another thread, I know. It was me who first posted it.
I could delete this appalling attempt at humour on the grounds that it didn't make me laugh, you know. But I won't, which just goes to show what a smashing bloke I am. Almost as nice as PompeyLapras.
With how terrible they were first half, I can't help but wonder how big of a bollocking they got from Laudrup at half time.
The comment I made about 'chilling' is because the end of season before tonight's game was in our hands in any case - yes a good result for us but either way - we still need to get something from our last two games and, no, I don't think we are safe until we have taken points from them either. People on this site should actually read what is written and not throw their own interpretations on others comments. I would also add that; at the time of my comment it was half-time and, as been proven, the effing game wasn't over after 45mins!
