What happens if we and Wigan finish on the same points and same goal diff at the end of the season?

Arsenal are likely to still need points to guarantee their Champions League spot though, so fingers crossed! Arsenal are also unbeaten since March I think.

I'm more worried if Wigan lose their game and so do we, we then having to rely on Villa/Lambert doing us a favour.

But hopefully our lads will get the job done on Sunday.

1 point would do it on Sunday, I'm 95% sure. Even if we get nothing we may still stay up.

That's possible, but I'd love it if we're safe before our last game so that we can just relax and enjoy the final game.

If we lose to West Brom gifting Wigan a chance to stay up against Villa, I wonder how Lambert/players will approach the game?

If lambert wants any of our players (snodders, rusty, maybe turner?) letting us go down would make it easier and cheaper to get them.

Lambert doesnt give a **** about us. His focus is purely on whats good for him. Makes him a great manager. I like that he basically said 'and i care, why?' to the news that david cameron was a villa fan.

I know they're coming good. Meant it in the sense that at this time of the season wigan seem to throw the form book out the window and beat everyone so i'm not ruling it out.

This will be a massive boost to the players though if they can't go out and fight for a result now then when will they be able to. From the doomiest of doom and gloom to eternal optimism from some people i've spoken to in the last few days. Its amazing football!

All the Pie Eaters are likely to get at The Emirates is a bashing of their GD,The way things are heading they will be lucky to put out a full team. Fingers crossed the cup final goes to extra time.

I hope Wigan win on penalties after one of the most brutal and gruelling finals in history, with some of the most lavish and extravagant celebrations to hit the UK resulting in a 3 day bender where they just about make it to the emirates. Sorry wigan fans.

Exactly after Lambert's celebrations on Saturday he surely doesn't give a toss about this club.

Professionally. Swansea got a lot of credit last night for their approach to the game, and if Lambert wants to continue to improve his credentials as a manager, throwing a game is not going to help that.

but surely if you go down, that enhances Lamberts reputation because of what he got out of your squad last year?
