I hesitate to ask this but... now what..?

 

Don't you remember, I was talking about this girl I really liked and I thought liked me back for weeks, trying to arrange a meet up with her, which finally took place tonight. Apparently I was deluded to think she could have been interested in me, as if anyone would be. I should know my place.

 

What happened?

 

You are a nice guy who over thinks things. You will meet a girl when you are not looking and she will think you are wonderful. Life can be simple if you let it.

 

Wise advice. That actually happened to me. The particular girl who sidled up to me, when I wasn't trying, ended up becoming my wife. Just get on with your life.

Supporting a half-decent football team wouldn't go amiss.

 

Apparently Fergie is considering retiring at the end of the season. I'm not too surprised, reckon he might have gone last year if they'd won the league.

 

We met up in London, went for dinner in a pub. Just chatting away as usual, then in the conversation she asked me if I was interested in anyone, which took me by surprise. So, I said that I was interested in her, she said basically sorry but she only sees me as a friend and apologised if she gave me any idea to think otherwise. That being after I bought her dinner and two glasses of pimms.

Please forgive me if I don't believe that.
