Reply YES if you want the Welsh wonders to score against Wigan and the Football fairies will please us
Newcastle and Sunderland are in much worse positions than ours due to the fact they play the two North London rivals on the last day who need the points just as badly as the Northern rivals.
Well said. Although I accepted it and moved on long before the game even kicked off (stop wetting the bed some of you - what did you expect?). Also it should not be forgotten that a Wigan win stuffs Newcastle and Norwich over a lot more than us. In some ways, it takes survival out of both of their hands. And that's even before you consider that they still have Arsenal and Man City to play respectively.
You just can't say that with certainty if we're one point above the drop zone and have forgotten how to score. I think we'll be fine too, but not with any great certainty. Anything can happen.
Why's everyone so worried about this game? I want a Wigan win or draw, would like them to stay up as Martinez will probably go in the summer leaving a weak team in the league over a potential rival like Newcastle/Sunderland. I'll give you all £5 if we go down.
People do need to chill. We still have one point more and a far better goal difference than the teams below us. Our position is alot better than either Norwich or Newcastle - staying up is in our hands - we need at least two points from our last two games - which is not beyond our means if we play like we did against Spurs and take our effing chances!
