we're meant to be foes but who gives a feck, enjoy your break knackered..........<cheers>

norway to answer the question i think its because the new board wanted to check and double check the wording of the contract, £350k for a play off final is outrageous, but we did have ol ridsdale pulling the strings so im not surprised.......

I saw that on BBC cardiff earlier. I love how they compare it with Man utd floating on the stock exchange :emoticon-0136-giggl
Their only comparison with Man utd is that they play in red :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Was gonna post a thread about this last night! All the financial experts agree that football and the stock exchange dont mix but cardiff think different!!...<laugh>

It quite clear that ting tong is a paper Billionaire with no actually capital to throw away lightly. I reckon we should all chip in and buy a controling intrest in them, make them play in bright green and change the club badge really hilarious ..<laugh>

Perfect opportunity for their fans to buy a controlling interest in their club if they can out manoeuvre their master !

SA9, what other British football team can they compare a stock market flotation? Oh let me see, um none!
NJ, how do you know what Cardiff think about it? Have you asked them? VT is investigating the possibility at this stage, nothing more. It may never happen but he's asking the experts in KL not the UK because the UK is such a financial powerhouse these day...

Why would I ask any of you lot Taff? unlike you I don't wum on your board I stick to my own but if I did go there and tell you about it

    1. Your fans head is always planted in the sand anyway.
    2. Cant tell you anything as you know it already apparently.
    3. Your fans have been described in the local media(bbc, wales online) as the move "taking the club to the next level" which kind of sums up the level of delusion.

Maybe ts you that should have a closer look, this thread is for swans fans to take the piss out of your comedy classics

Bony, if the flotation goes ahead anyone can buy shares, personally I can't see it happening very quickly.
PGF, if Sunderland are on the stock market then they would be a better comparison based on other criteria other than being on the stock market alone.
NJ, who's wumming? No, our fans debate different views and express themselves on the message boards. If their heads were firmly in the sand then their would be no debates would there.
I do not profess to know everything but I do have my views and if I do know something I am willing to share my knowledge in the interest of debate.
So how would you describe the flotation? I am addressing the sensible you not the bile filled bigot that has surfaced here.

I see Cardiff city in the thread title and I choose to use the reason that my club is mentioned so I am entitled to put my point of view forward.

A guy on Radio 4's money program reckons it's best not to buy shares this season as they'll at a premium. Best to wait for relegation - you'll pick 'em up for a song. :)

Floating a company normally leads to one or two things, either they are looking for money to be brought into the company by issuing shares, they do that by more loans, or the investor wants out - looks like a comedy classic to me
