Millwall announce that Kenny Jackett has resigned as manager of the Championship club.

"After almost six seasons I personally feel the time is right for a new challenge, and also for a new manager to come into Millwall with fresh ideas, to take the club forward towards its long-term goal of reaching the Premier League," says Jackett.

What he is actually saying is "I'm useless and going before I'm used for the Guy on November 5th!"

Or perhaps he's off to Wolves?

I thought John Ward would be up there, he lives in the Wolverhampton area and according to the blue super few he is the best thing since sliced bread....

Its probably a bit like us, he's seen the writing on the wall and that they will struggle next year and it is probably more than a coincidence that the Wolves and Millwall announcements were within an hour of each other.

Personally, he is one of those I would have loved to have had before SoD was appointed...

Be fair without Ward, who did a better job at City than he was given credit for by the board at the time, the Gas would have been in the BSP next season.
