Sako yes but Rhodes is not that good overall - dont reckon he'd do it in the prem...there's loads of heavy scorers in the 2nt tier who never cut in the first tier cos they lacked all round technical ability. oldies may recall Derek Hales, Ted Macdougal didnt score many did he? erm Chris Chilton...Frazier Campbell (I know - Chillo had a dodgy back)

I can't remember where I heard it, but do remember hearing Bruce is looking at Ryan Babel on a FREE from Ajax.

Shaun Maloney would be a good signing.

I think that Brucey will try his hardest to get Phil Neville - given that it is Brucey, and our links with Man Utd, I think we will be best placed amongst our 'tier' to sign him, but if somebody else up the league promises game-time, then we will struggle.

Its always a gamble i agree but IMO Rhodes could cut in in the PL. Look at what Lambert, Graham, ALF, Holt have done in the past. At the right price its a no brainer. Sako is a powerhouse full stop. Built like a brick s**t house.

Yes he has. No Campbells in Hull please. They just drop us in the soup:)emoticon-0105-wink:) all the time.

Agree with Stockdale, don't agree with Rosenior he lifted the team when he came on against Bristol and I thought was one of our 3 best players on Saturday, especially in the 1st half, Elmo has looked static for a month and Ros gave him a new lease of life, they worked well together down the right. It's funny how we can see things so differently watching the same game.

However, I wonder whether Anderson might come on loan he doesn't get much game time at Utd and we have to have Go for Rhodes if not look abroad, or relegated teams.

I would think that SAF would want Powell to play at the highest level possible. Tom Cleverley did well for Wigan on loan the season before last. If SB is interested it could well happen.

Udders are wanting to sign up Beckford and Vaughan for next season. Now that would be interesting if it happened and they could stay fit.

Steve Bruce has spoken to SSN today and confirmed that he will persue the loans. Hard work needed etc etc but hopeful of keeping the ones he wants.

Some great sky video clips from saturday on www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/

I don`t know you get promoted and all you can think about is shopping.

It won`t worry us at Cardiff if we start with the squad we have, you got experience but it`s a first for us.

Imagine if we both stay up?

I think we will both go into the transfer market sooner rather than later, lets hope we get players we want.

We are probably after the same players. If not we better both sort out our deals before "moneybags" Leicester win the play-offs! :)

Well the media speculatiion has Cardiff after Kenwyn Jones(stoke) - Zamora and Mackie(dqpr) for starters. I doubt that any of these would interest Steve Bruce.

But both teams needs goals without a doubt. Thankfully we both have 3 weeks head start on the PO winners.

Another name linked with Hull City is Wigans out of contract defender Maynor Figuera who playe LB or CB.

out of that list for me i would try for:
figueroa, mcmanaman, di santo, boyce, alcaraz
    jaaskelainen, oneil, reid, obrien
    myhill,jara
    gallas
    tremmel,tiendalli
    campbell (dont rage :p)
    boruc, puncheon
    tabb
    doni
    diarra, hangeland
    nevill, distin
    dunne
    frimpong

i think all of them could improve us in one way or another. the list is so wrong though most of them have been extended already or will be shortly

Both teams need goals so let's hope Cardiff sign them , then at least they won't score many next season :)
