I put this up on Monday's thread but the horse was pulled out. Whilst I feel the Yarmouth 4.20 race it has now been entered in on Tuesday is harder and has less exposed opposition the horse may still be worth a small each way at the same price. I will certainly have mixed emotions should it win as it was my fourth horse in a yankee with three winners today. Should it win Tuesdays race it would have been hard to see it not having done the same if allowed to run in the Windsor race. The same thing happened to me a couple of weeks back with Spillway being pulled out only to win the next day in tougher company. To make things worse he beat my selection into second in the tougher race he won as I deserted him.

3.30 Pixilated 14-1 EW
I was told to back this horse on it's debut last year only for it to finish third. Although at the time I just thought nothing of it I realised that it was well intentioned info when after that defeat the yard put it straight into a listed race where it was beat into 6th by Sir Prancelot. After this it won it's maiden unchallenged by 3 1/2 lengths and was then put into the Windsor castle at Royal Ascot, where it was beaten soundly. It then ran underpar once again and a pattern started to emerge explaining the debut defeat, as it does not like give underfoot. It has since ran twice on the all weather and failed to shine but by the style of it's victory in the maiden at Yarmouth you can tell it's a galloper liking a straight track. There is a question over fitness of course having been off since January but I feel the ground and track will suit and that if this horse genuinely has anywhere near the ability once hoped it can take a grade 5 race at Windsor tomorrow, it's an each way price so worth a bet I feel.

I have actually backed it at 15-8 as I do not have a Corals account but they currently go 2's. In my book even money will be a decent bet as this horse is running off of 73 and I will be amazed if this horse does not prove to be much better than that.

Your Botti horse has a hell of a chance Bob, especially if the money is down. May I recommend an each way saver however on KATY'S SECRET @ 16-1. This mare has dropped to a very useful mark having not been seen at her best on the AW. She is however a dual scorer here and is now off a tidy rating. Seven furlongs really stretches her stamina but I dont think she will be far away.

Not betting, but I would think the 100/30 about Big Time Billy in the 7.25 looks a very tempting price.
That horse looks to be very progressive and still nicely handicapped on her form in bumpers. The further she went at Cheltenham, the better she was going and this trip should suit perfectly.

Life of a Luso 5/1, 7.25 @ Exeter. Back over hurdles to exploit a a winnable mark. Clear 10l winner last time out over fences off 122 and gets in here of 112. Decent form on top of the ground too. Win bet.
I was going to give it a miss today but this looks a bet that I cant possibly pass on.

Another there who I thought was bordering on interesting, Duke Of Orange 11/2 in the 4.20, I think he might have bumped into a well handicapped one last time and its interesting he is back out so soon, he is nothing special but he is at least still relatively unexposed and low in the weights, im not particularly confident tho to be honest. The horse who beat him, Edged Out, is one who I think could definitely rack up a few wins in handicaps now.
Will be having a good look at the 7.35 at Navan, really interesting race and one of my favourite horses from last season Cest Notre Gris is running. Ive not decided yet whether I think he is out to run, or out for a run, but he could be overpriced at 10/1, he is no mug. Whelan being on against one of Bolgers im thinking maybe he isnt tuned up for it, its a tough race and he comes out worst at the weights so it dosent look promising, but ill keep an eye on him anyway regardless of what conclusions I come to.

I think Moyes deserves a chance with Utd. He has worked wonders with the Toffees on a shoestring.
There were huge wagers placed on Moyes to succeed Ferguson on Sunday night/Monday morn and Paddy Power for one shortened him to 4/7 to succeed Ferguson. In fact old boy Paddy was on TalkSPORT yesterday shouting about all the supposed money that they had been inundated with for Moyes in this market. There are also reports in some papers today that a ‘handover period’ could exist between Ferguson and Moyes with the latter working as some sort of ‘assistant’ during this time. If any of it is true though I have no idea.
Personally, I hope he does go to Old Trafford as it will keep him away from The Arsenal. One of the most overrated managers of recent times in my view. Here’s a stat re Moyes – in 45 away matches he has managed at Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea he has won none! Wow...what a manager he is!

That is dreadful news re the Cooper boy just when he was on the cusp on greatness as well. Always thought it was a huge mistake that connections chose McCoy over him to ride Sir Des Champs in the Gold Cup back in March. I know which saddle monkey I would have chosen and both groaned and winced when McCoy got the ride.
