Almen Abdi received the award as player of the season with votes from the fans. <applause>

Anyone want to disagree with the choice. I wouldn't.

I dont think you can, 12 goals from midfield in your first season in the league and even in the country is a phenomenal achievement. He has so often been our midfield general and our rock. Congratulations Almen Abdi!

Personally I voted him second but no complaints. How could there be? He has been a real driving force... the Midfield Maestro. Congratulations, Almen, thoroughly deserved!<applause>

Hard to argue with for his overall contribution, but my personal favourite player of the season is Marco Casetti - he is just total class and the likes of which we have not seen often at The Vic. I love to watch him both on and off the ball, something young players should do as they would learn so much...classic Italian defender and must be a nightmare to play against.

i can't remember if i put Abdi or Cassetti first, but they were my one and two. Thrilled for him though, he's been amazing for us, and the games he hasn't started, we've not done so well in which says a lot. Well done AA, congrats!

On the contrary - I believe that he has won the Dirty Cheating Scumbag of the Year Award.

aka Leeds Player of the Season, so I'm told.

Abdi's a very worthy winner...calm in possession, sees a pass quickly, good concentration, always plays for 90 minutes...quality!

Yes a great player for us....... and good to see that supporters did not go for a goal scorer per se.

Let's not forget we have had a number of players across all positions this season who have performed to a high standard.
