    Looks worryingly like David Gest.

Let's be honest, anything that looks like David Gest is pretty damned worrying...

As a boy of 15 growing up at Arsenal, the first thing you were told was "keep a clean sheet and we get a point!" That was Arsenal's policy.
Tommy Baldwin ex Arsenal and Chelsea.

No wonder there were a lot of drunks around the Finsbury Park area!

The Spurs policy? If they get 4,we get 5.

I'm going to say that if you guys win against Chelsea, we'll end up fifth for sure. So it is all in your hands now.

    No colluding though. <whistle>

Nah mate, beat chelsea then **** up against Stoke or Sunderland. Its the Spurs way.
I'd say its Arsenal that are nailed on at the moment. If we don't win on weds then game over for us.

Not sure. Wigan and possibly Newcastle will be up for their matches against Arsenal. Stoke less so for us, now they have 41 points. A win tomorrow is vital, but still some hope if it doesn't happen.

I believe Arsenal could drop a couple of points against two very tough teams to be playing at the end of the season.

However, we have probably the worst possible fixture we could have, tomorrow night. One could put "Man united away" into that category as another awful fixture, but our hoodoo against them has now ended.

I dunno what it is, but Chelsea away is just something else. - Infact every fixture against them is horrific. For the last 4 seasons, we've been a side competing for CL football. When we play other sides in the league, we get good results, (most of the time) and deserve to win.
However, with Chelsea we seem to go completely to **** and produce a performance that's often comical.

We need to do to Chelsea what we did to United. Unfortunately I don't see that happening twice in the same season. - Especially with our lack of luck, and how fortunate Chelsea against us.

I agree, however Pulis is under pressure and it could be his last home game for the club. Stoke will be up for it.

Plus it's a chance for Charlie Adam and Bale to reacquaint themselves <whistle>

  14. We have had a few crazy scores against Chelsea, but our PL performances at Stamford Bridge have not been bad in recent years and we have been on the wrong end of some appalling decisions and bad luck.
That has to end sometime and Chelsea are due an underpar game themselves, so cannot think of a better time than tomorrow!!

70% Optimist, 20% Realist and 10% Delusional. Oh, sorry - wrong thread!! :D

Oh, dear, Gaffe! You really letting yourself down, here.

Getting CL footy is always something to celebrate. However, I can understand your confusion, because you 'Pool fans actually believed the media bull5shit that LFC had a god-given right to a Top 4 spot every season. When you have finally worked out that the Glory Days are not going to return to 'Pool, perhaps you'll learn to appreciate the fact that, for normal fans, finishing in the top 4 is a great achievement, and not something to be taken for granted.

Humility, pal. That's what it's called.

  20. I'd say that that insult is beneath you, PESKIE, but all of us here know that it's your true level.

Still, shame on you. You could have decided to be the bigger man. Oh, well.
