I went, rather grudgingly might I add, to the ballet at the weekend. It was magic I recommend it to all!

I went to see Les Mis, theatre not film, a few weeks back. It was nearly 3 hours long but it only felt like 2 hours.

I went to Saddlers Well's one Christmas with the ex dragon, who liked that sort of thing. It ground on forever, the bar was rammed at the interval, the birds had no thruppenies and legs like centre halves, and all the pubs were shut when we eventually escaped.

When I die, I'll know if I've gone to heaven because the entrance will look like Cheltenham Racecourse. If I've been sent down, it''l be Saddlers bloody Wells theatre.

She wants me to watch the latest movie version of Les Mis. I have so far avoided it. Dunno how much longer I'll be able to hold out.

My advice is watch the ****ing movie. That way there'll be no danger of being Shanghai'd into going to see the show. Beats me how live theatre survived the invention of moving pictures.

I once got dragged off to see Madame Butterfly by the ex-missus. It was alright, seeing as I fell asleep through most if it. Had a pint at the interval. Went back to sleep.

The last and only ballet I went to was an 'alternative' Russian one. I was eying up the big girl in the front for a good hour before I realised it was a man. The Mika based sound track should have gave it away.

    Anyway thoroughly (and surprisingly) enjoyable.

I'm actually a big fan of Hollywood 50's musicals.

Carousel is my favourite. Then The West Side Story.

Saw the musical version of Death Of a Salesman at His Majesty's Theatre. Stunning dance routines.

There are lots of arts and culture activities that I haven't tried and may actually like (Opera, a proper ballet, Riverdance etc) - but I am pretty certain I hate musicals. Whenever a person randomly breaks into song in the middle of narrative I feel like stabbing a puppy. Watching the likes of Glee just fills my skull with absolute despair.

It's called suspension of belief Baldy.

Would not expect a Tim to get it at all.

    I love Surrealism and Dadaism.

Can't stand the majority of Modern Art (pishing all over a bed/submarine made of car tyres).
