Ricardo - first of all, good luck next season and well done to HCFC for making back Under Paul Lambert it was and it seemed to carry on for a few months in to the new season but it appears that once we hit 25 points in December, Chris Hughton started to take a very cautious approach to games, playing to not lose as opposed to playing to try and win. It has back-fired big time and we are now playing the worst football I can even remember seeing at Carrow Road! We have been making the QPR lot look half decent most weeks and had we started the season as we seem to be finishing it, i dare say we would below QPR in today's league table! Yes, it really is that bad
Not intended to be put downs for anyone other than my own club Andy, seriously if we had played like this all season, the Derby County low points total record could have been broken!
I'd like Wigan to stay up, two Manchester and merseyside clubs next door and it's a rugby league town, I have a lot if respect for the fans they do get despite that.
Well they're ten points better off than us and showing some fight, if they played the season like they normally do the end - they'd be fighting for a European place. Not sure why Martinez can't get them playing consistently.
Goes without saying WBA is more or less a cup final for Norwich. They are down if they lose to WBA IMO as I can't see them going to City on the last day (could also be Mancini's last game). WBA have gone off the boil a bit though and I feel they may just roll over. Fulham or Villa for me
I just think that looks incredibly unlikely. If Villa need to come up with a performance on the last day I think they could at least hold Wigan who will almost certainly be beneath them.
If Sunderland hold on, it means they go above Norwich, a Wigan win will put them above Norwich which will mean Norwich will have to get something from WBA or be relegated as Newcastle will get something from us.
Sunderland to go down as I said. Had it down as a 1-1 draw in the predictor and for them to lose against the saints next and away to spurs in the last match. Norwich will get the point they need against WBA and survive because of it
It all rests on tomorrow now. If Wigan win, 40 points probably won't be enough to stay up. If they don't, 38/39 points should suffice.
I believe Wigan will beat two holiday ready Swansea and Villa teams at home. It's down to Norwich and Sunderland to get something from their home games, if the win they'll both be safe if my maths are correct. But my betting have been crap of late so won't put any money on it
if wigan don't win tomorrow then they are down, and wont they have one eye on the cup final, its either wigan or naarwich, could go down to 1 goal difference
Wigan arent down even if they lose. Newcastle have to beat us (dont laugh) and then they play Arsenal, Norwich have WBA and the Citeh. Norwich might not get another point which means 3 points is enough for wigan to stay up on GD.
yes but who is bloody going down, because I just don't know, I am going for naarwich on goal difference
