We have Stockdale and Elmo on season long loans. Our season is over but their parent teams aren't. Stockdale has said he's going back to Fulham this week. Will Elmo return to Sunderland - to play and try to keep them up?
Elmo can't play for Sunderland this season as his loan doesn't expire as far as the FA are concerned until the transfer window reopens. Stockdale as a keeper goes under slightly different rules but I can't see it happening. (he'll go back but he won't play)
He said on a talksport interview he will go back to Fulham to sit on the bench or whatever they need him to do!
Yeah, I meant he'd go back but he wouldn't play because they're not about to throw him in as first choice.
