I actually feel a bit sorry for him now, it would have been nice to have him around if he is actually a City fan. He should have never been manager though, which leads me to... 3. Sack Adam Pearson. A year from now, everyone's going to be discussing why Macca got a new deal, immediately after we got out of the last ridiculous deal we gave him. He'd be a decent addition for any Championship club and a terrible addition for any Premier League club.

I'd much rather we gave players a chance than persisted with labelling every player a specific division they are capable of playing in. Alex Bruce was going to be crap and he's had a great season. We should learn from that.
I don't think Alex Bruce has been great, I think he's been okay, but if we plan on playing him in Premier League, we won't be there long.
It's never as simple as people think. Who'd have thought Gary Taylor-Fletcher would end up playing well and scoring in a good attacking side in the PL? Jon Walters is another fine example. Bruce can't keep the ball to save his life, but he can defend and that's more than can be said for some of the defenders we had in the PL last time around.
