Higdon is a carthorse and should have been nowhere near PoTY but that's the way the cookie crumbles i'm afraid, the players voted for him and that's the end of it. Maybe some agendas were at play and were reflected in the voting but there have been voting agendas since these awards started and maybe Celtic players benefited from it in the past, who knows, who cares? It's player of the year, not the Nobel peace prize so while it's lovely to see a Celtic player win it I really don't give a good damn if one of our players don't win it, besides, there is hardly a consensus among Celtic fans as to who has been the best Celtic player of the year, so how do we expect the opposition players to choose any differently?
