Danablu vs Oldsparkey Firstly, a playoff debut for Danablu who has improved on last season unspectacular midtable finish to give himself a shot at promotion. His opponent is last day playoff specialist Sparkey who is looking to make the Playoff final after falling short against eventual winner ccfcrtOp at this stage last season. Watch out Dan, Sparkey has known to use dirty tactics at this stage before Now I don't want to cast aspersions or sound bitter or anything but have the results of Sparkey's urine sample been published yet ?
No problem if you want one. I've had plenty before when I was a Russian women's shot putt champion........... They never caught me out back then, and I had a successful operation a few years back. I went in for a breast implant but had a short sighted surgeon and came out with a pair of bollucks. Hey ho - I've never looked back since............
Ah the playoff's such found and happy times with a fair bit of banter you lot have alot to live up to
He could be referring to me Exile - the twat beat me as well..... Old DanishBlue better be up to the mark in the semis this year or I'll switch back to Stilton. BTW Blueturkey - that'll serve you right for waiting until the last minute for the teams to be announced before picking your scorers......
Blueturkey ??? hmmmm ok then 'Oldsparkplug' !! I was genuinely late this week ......although in the past I have dithered a little bit when it came to selecting my scorers ......And guess what ? my scorer column is the lowest in the whole second division .......I'm just superstitious ......Its just a pre-match ritual that I like to be last to name the scorers .....Oh and I also think its lucky that I wear my wife's pink panties to the pub every Saturday ........
Turk - The association with turkeys is that they normally get stuffed at Christmas time not Mayday....... Tough luck Turk - I usually come from behind..... Probably don't deserve to make the playoffs to be honest as I invariably forecast the boys to win every game - this time I went for the 2-2 draw and struck lucky. Sheepy - I'll put my predictions together and get them to you as soon as - and cheers.
backs against the wall time for me then. A tactic that Blueturk should have learnt by now. Im up for it Sparkey Lets jusy see who is the Big Cheese
More importantly what theme is the Playoffs going to take this season we went all Star wars on each other last season LOL i cant recall whos father i was but i put you all to bed .
Just for Fun Thursday 9th May 2013 Leicester 2 v 0 Watford 19:45 Nugent and King 3 yellow 0 red Friday 10th May 2013 Crystal Palace 1 v 1 Brighton 19:45 Dobbie and Buckley fiary afair 7 yellow and 1 red Sunday 12th May 2013 Watford 1 v 1 Leicester 12:30 Forrestiari and Nugent 2 yellow 0 red Monday 13th May 2013 Brighton 4 v 1 Crystal Palace 19:45 Lopez 2 Buckley Lualua and Phillips 4 yellow 0 red
Mmmm I'm feeling Foxes 1 - 1 Hornets Wood and Abdi 5 yellows and o reds. As I said earlier feel free to predict
R2D2 beat me fair and square last year - my bloody light sabre blew a fuse and I couldn't find a sparkey...... I reckon it's cheese wars with old Danishblue this year. I like Peter Stilton myself, but he's not playing for Leicester any more....
So after a very close tie at the King Power, the scores are very close in our two ties. Danablu 1 - 2 Oldsparkey With both semi finalists going for a draw they were both denied by David Nugent's late goal. However, Sparks picks up the extra point for having the said scorer and allows him to just edge Dan. Early days however. The Exile 2 - 3 Sayer77 Another closely fought tie with both players having the ex - England international as one of their scorer choices, but Sayer's decision to back the home side has given him a very slight advantage. Nobody was close enough to the 7 yellow cards given out. The battles continue at Selhust Park tonight ....
So the playoffs are yet to really spark after two games and one goal but don't worry the prediction playoffs are beginning to shape up nicely at the half way stage. Danablu 3 - 5 Oldsparkey Sparky is the first person to score more than one point for a category and he uses it well to wrest control of this tie. He's spot on in guessing the number of yellows and this allows Sparky to build on his early lead and open up a two points gap. However danablu will take comfort in the fact that Ol' Sparks has been in this position before and let it slip. ccfcrtOp turned Sparky over despite his 1 points lead at half time. The Exile 4 - 4 Sayer77 Nothing can separate these two as Ex wipes out Sayer's first game to square the tie as they enter half time. Sayer missed out on the number of reds and Ex makes up the ground. Could go either way this one! We are set for entertaining finale of these two ties which resume on Sunday
