To be honest if Watford do not get through the play offs then I would not mind it being either Leicester or Brighton - just hope it is not Hollowhead's Palace I wonder whether the clubs make any money from the play off semis or whether expenses hastily arranged eat up the revenue - might be why they don't discount. I know that traditionally the loser at Wembley takes all the money from that match which is small consolation but at least something
At one of the fan's forums recently it was said that little money is to be made from play offs, it just gives the fans extra excitement if their team gets to the final.
As a neutral I can't wait for the play offs going on the season I'd obviously have you guys to win but with the momentum of the last day you could really come up against a confident Leicester team. I'm going 3-2 on aggregate but not sure who to haha
If anyone said that our players don't care about Watford you only needed to look at their faces at the end of the game Saturday to see that is not true. There is an article in the Indie which looks at GFZ himself and what he will have to do to try and lift the spirits before we play Leicester. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...atfords-promotion-disappointment-8604705.html
It is still annoying to read though that even the Independent says "Watford's 16 loan players represent an unfair advantage"
Good Luck! I hope you can win the play-offs as you were a great team to play against and pushes us to our limits. You deserve it. -Posh Fan
Typical Posh supporter - wishes us luck despite their relegation - we hope you make an instant return too
To be fair Brighton have slipped a little under the radar and that may have caused them to choke less than ourselves and Hull and we have avoided them in the play off semi finals. They could get knocked out by Palace and indeed with a two week break before the final at Wembley it's anybodies guess then as to who would be the form side then.
The fat obnoxious toad that is Martin Samuel won't be one of them and none of the sky pundits were singing our praises either http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/ar...ing-scandal-Racing-crisis--MARTIN-SAMUEL.html
Well, your the only one I would like to support. Leicester Defo No. Palace -_-. Brighton, maybe since if they go up we get some money from CMS but meh. Good Luck
not sure, when Leicester's usual away capacity is between 4000-4500 they have only given us 2000 but i will be one of those 2000, singing loud and proud. We've done the double already, and though it will be tough, we can do it! The GK situation is a bit of a worry, and not having Deeney in the first leg, but even with all that, i believe we have the skills and tenacity to get to Wembley
I wonder how they can get away with printing the crap he purports to write...we all know it's unlikely that either the Prem League, the FA or the FL will vote for not allowing any more than 1 player from a club outside of England or Wales. Utter tosh..
Hollowhead how old are you:? - come on here pretending to be a professor and come out with childish nonsense like that I think leicester will win as we'll be in pieces after folding on Saturday. However, I do genuinely believe that if we could get to Wemmbley nobody will beat us
not going to happen..the only reason we won't make wembley imho is if we're struggling with goalkeepers.
Dan - you are sooo supportive of our Leeds WUM on another thread and apologised for all the Watford fans comments - what right you think you have to do that only you know - insulting to all of us who disagreed with him. Since when did I become a professor - in your pathetic imagination I guess. Have you not forgiven me for criticising your weird sense of humour yet? Hollowhead is the current way many many people are referring to him as he has demonstrated that he lacks something up top - so stop picking on me and just make your point or clear off back to your horse racing. Anyone who puts his occupation as professional badger baiting and then talks about other people being childish has not heard the expressions "pot calling the kettle black" or "people who live in glass houses shoul not throw stones". We did not "fold" on Saturday until we lost our two goalkeepers and had a rookie 19 year old on unexpectedly - are you forecasting the same to happen on Thursday. As I said then we lost through sheer bad luck - odds of one in a million - as you might know from horse racing
so you're a liar as well then. I apologised for my coments, ironically of course. Pick out where i apologised for you lot and i'll retract - I don't think I'll need to. A few were abusing Leeds as a club and a fan base and he didn't like it- how the hell did you think they'd react? I'm not picking on you - I criticised a few and you chose to single me out on a thread. Me insutling? Jesus H Christ<laugh. Calling myself a professional badger baiter was a bit of a joke - as childish as calling a football manager a playground name . The fact you've had to vsit my home page to sling mud speaks volumes. Watford's my club - I would never tell you, or indeed anyone else, to leave the team forum so please pay me the same courtesy. We folded on Saturday - we could not match Leeds up front or in central midfield. It was our time and unfortunately we couldn't quite pull it off. No shame in that and I was still proud of the boys. I just worry that they might be so down they cannot pick it up again. It's very clear I've got under your skin. I'm very pleased about that - i get on with everyone else on here and not one of them has criticised me for my postings since Saturday - go figure I think it's in the interests of the board that I do not react to your posts in the future so i am putting you on ignore - priobably best if you do the same and i daresay if anyone disagrees with what i put up in fuiuture they will be quick enough to tell me.
Dan - fyi the first person I saw using the name "Hollow-head" to describe Olly was Hornette, would you like to review your appraisal?
