Just thought i would get a few things off my chest.;) Don`t like their town, don`t like their manager, hate their Chairman but in the end I hate them for the fact that they think they are everybodys favorite second team. WRONG!! Hell has a special place put aside for Wigan supporters I think!!

God I feel better after that!<party>

I never used to feel like this.

But then Martinez and Whelan started spouting that guff after the McManaman tackle ....

That cemented the complete hatred. That whole game and it could be the one that ultimately sends us down. If the **** ref/linesman did their jobs properly Wigan would have been down to ten men and that handball which led to the winner would have been spotted

Please Swansea do us a favour tomorrow. Even a draw could really help us.

I've only had an issue since their behaviour after the Haidara tackle.
I do think they, and their 3 fans belong in a lower league though.

Pardon the intrusion lads but I couldn't help looking at this thread.

For what it's worth the one team I would definitely not want to go down would be your good selves, even though I'm sure Newcastle and Swansea should be in different time zones because it takes so bloody long to get to you :D
Hopefully we can do you a favour tomorrow, if it makes you feel better we were much better against Man City than we have been in recent weeks.

Good luck for what's left of the season

Wigan are just a total waste of space - They do nothing but sit in the bottom three for the majority of the season then when it's April/ May time they decide to grind out some results. Shockingly bad side, with a senile old tit for an owner, the most overrated manager in England (if he was any good he'd have taken them to mid table and above) and a collection of fans who can only be described as quieter than a funeral service. The sooner they disappear back to the lower leagues where they belong, the better.

Cheers! Next season is going to be something when you play Cardiff in the Premier. Some atmosphere at both those games! Good luck in Europe too. Hopefully you can do us a big favour tomorrow :D

Nice sentiments and thankyou, we'll certainly be rooting for you lads tomorrow, a sneaky little 6-0 Swansea win would be most welcome.

What encapsulated it for me was that the press love them. No mention of the Kone handball to beat us (we'd now be on 40 points were it not for that) and not a sniff about the Jordi Gomez kick to holtby. Only reason he didn't get sent off is because holtby got on with it and didn't roll around like a massive preening cheat, which ironically is why Gomez himself did when he was in the receiving end of exactly the same challenge from Zamora.

Perhaps the reason Wigan manage the seasonal great escape is because they are canny cheats, willing to break any rule or ethical code to win. So far this season they've spat, assaulted, dived and handballed there way to potential safety and a cup final, doing the whole thing under the stewardship of a deluded hypocritical gobshite with the worst support I've witnessed in years of visiting grounds.

Add to that the sh.t called McManaman , who should have been suspended, has scored winners in a couple of games to get them closer to survival than they deserve.

I can see why I'd route for the Swans, I like them because they play really good football but having to route for Stoke? Pardew deserves the sack for that alone.
