Just been looking at TWTD and some of the other sports websites and it seems that JET and Chopra will both be sold in the summer. We are hot favourites to secure Alan Judge from Notts County after holding talks with him last week at Portman Road. Paddy Kisnorbo will be offered a new deal as he is now out of contract with Leeds and will provide valuable cover at Centre Back. Midfielder Cole Skuse has agreed a 3 year deal at Town with the former Birstol City skipper likely to come in ready for pre season. Kenny McClean from St Mirren is also very likely to be joining us for pre season. Lee Martin is definately on his way out with Charlton the most possible destination.

    Good news all round really.
Not fussed about Chops at all, although I saw he said that he doesn't have to leave if he doesn't want to. In fact that tweet just shows that he doesn't give a **** about ITFC and we should make a deal to pay his contract up (taking out the amount he owes us of course) and let the arrogant ****er go.
Shame about JET, got natural ability but lacks the work ethic to really make it. He will probably go and be a star somewhere else now, at a team who are willing to forget his lack of work rate for his pieces of magic.
Skuse on a free means we don't have to bother with N'Daw's wages now.

I hope chops gets alienated by his team mates now. If I was in the team I would make my feelings about him known and make sure that coming to work was an unpleasant experience for him.
People are fearing that his attitude will taint the players around him but I hope that it works the opposite in that they can see him for what he really is.
It is a good example to young players of how NOT to do things and I hope they can see that.

What an arrogant tosser Chopra is. After the effort the club has made to get this waste of space back on his feet. It makes my blood boil. It just goes to show, players have too much power.

Shame about JET though. Mind you if anyone was going to get the best out of him it would have been Mick, so it's probably for the best.

The problem with JET is that Mick & Terry have not had time to spend on him, they have been far to busy staving of relegation. For me I would keep hold of him for another season to see if, with a bit of TC TLC we can get more out of him.
I appreciate we then risk losing him on a free, but hey it would not be the first time for us would it.?

You just can't believe Chopra really, you'd think he'd learn, very talented player just an absolute idiot but he IMO will certainly need to be replaced.

As for JET I'm very dissapointed because he really does have that quality which not many of our players have (if any) and in the small number of minutes he played he showed alot more than either Martin or Edwards in nearly the whole season but he clearly isn't a Mick type player and I'm not sure he fits into a 442, although I wouldn't have minded seeing him uptop with Nouble. It's a bit of a shame because I've always seen this as a bit of a limitation of Micks, not being able to encorporate flair players into his teams which is fine at championship level but in the PL you need a few of these. It'll be interesting to see how he plans on fitting Taylor in.

Don't know much about the other players we are after but I certainly be pleased if we signed Judge. I hope we don't sign N'Daw and I'm not overly bothered about Murphy.

We will certainly be in great need of strengthening as as it stands with all those being released and those told they can leave we only have 11 contracted senior players.

My head says that JET only has 1 year left on his contract, so it makes sense to get some cash for him and let another team take a gamble. With FFP coming in next season the money we get for him might help Mick build a team that could really challenge for promotion.

But my heart says I would love to take a gamble on him, I always get excited when he comes on but he is a real luxury.

When you look at it that way Wrighty it makes sense. If he doesn't fit in with what Mick wants to do then it must be better to get something for him than let him go free next year.
He may well go on and be a success somewhere else and we will be questioning the decision but at the same time how many times have we bitched lately that players have gone for nothing.
Basically the choice is new contract or sell.

Couldn't give a rats ass about chops going. I wanted him to be the player he was but to many liberties taken so bye bye. Would be sorry to see jet go, stacks of potential. That's a wait and see what MM does. Anyone any info on kenny McLean.

Im always disappointed when any player doesnt make it at P R, but lets face it what have Chopra, Martin, and JET actually contributed in their time here? Goals? not really enough to warrant a good strikers tally in one season and thats between the 3 of them and in their combined time here, discipline on and off the field? not very impressive is it. Will we miss them? Dont think so do you?
