Good morning from a bright Weston-super-Mare, it's supposed to be a very warm and sunny day today! Has nobody told them it's Bank Holiday? Where's our rain? At this rate Birmingham will be empty and we will be full! <yikes>

Morning all from a very sunny bandit country - just dropped Little Miss W_Y off at the station, she has to work today and did not get in until 01.00 this morning as mother and daughter was at the O2 watching Beyonce, so she will have a long day <yikes>.

I am sure that when Mrs W_Y wakes up, she will have some chores for me to do, so I will enjoy a lazy hour or so on the internet. We have been invited to our friends son's wedding next January in Los Angeles, so will need to start looking at flight options.

I see our new resident troll is also up early this morning, hopefully no-one will respond and he will find something else to do with his life.

Will be away today. Taking 'Maestroette' off to Sarrrrrrrrrrrfffffend on mud, for the day. My stomach is already churning at the rides she wants to go on. She's only 10 and she is telling me that 'the rage' is a musty, as is 'the claw'. just the names of those rides put the fear of God into me.
I'm too old for this lark <yikes>

Apparently they go up high and then drop, and go upside down. She has also warned me it might be best if I don't eat anything before going on the rides with her <yikes> :emoticon-0145-shake :emoticon-0107-sweat :emoticon-0119-puke:

Never could stand theme parks and those rides - thankfully the kids often went with the school, brownies, guides etc

Lovely non-holiday Monday here, warm and sunny. <cool> Next holiday is Thursday, but will not make that much difference as there will still be jobs to do before my holiday. Looking forward now to getting down by the Med again. Sea temperature still only 14C so doubt that I will be getting in very much. :(

I get a Bank Holiday today and a CI public holiday on Thursday, which is Liberation Day. The anniversary of VE Day is on Wednesday, and the Channel Islands were liberated a day later.

It's lovely here but I'm staying in as I'm feeling a bit flat. Nothing to do with Saturday, just that it's taken me ages to get to sleep every night for the last few weeks which usually results in either me ending up in hospital having had fits or getting headaches and dozing off at work in the afternoons and then feeling like I've got no energy about a week later and then I start to pick up. Just as well I'm feeling drained on a day I would've been relaxing anyway.

i'm here Leonardo :) thanks so much for asking! It's been a very busy weekend! I'm so so excited about Leicester on Thursday!

I had a lesson with Bertie Schottel (is that how you spell it?) lovely lad..hoping to get a look in on Thursday! It'll be interesting to see if he does. As with so many others, his contract is up at the end of this season, but if our goalkeeping situation doesn't improve, who knows. My fingers are crossed for him. My car is very little for a 6'4" goalkeeper! lol
