Is the story doing the rounds in the local press . Apparently the transfer commitee refuse to sanction a move for the soon to be 29yr old Ash williams. Bloody hell even im starting to feel old now!!

I dont think any **** will hit the fan over this one. I dont think pool fans want him either so maybe FSG are protecting Rodgers from himself !!...<laugh> i see the logic in having experience in the team but i dont think Ash would be the man to bring that, i always thought of him much better when he is left to play his own game.

I wonder if Brenden will be a bit miffed. First Dempsey now Ash Williams. The article said that Ash williams agent has been in talks with Arsenal so it looks like he is fishing for a move away, and a last big pay day. Careful what you wish for Ash !

Whatever you do don't put that on the Liverpool board Norway, it certainly does make Rodgers look a bit silly if he can't sign who he wants and I get the feeling that that the Liverpool fans wouldn't be happy with an attempt to sign Ash anyway.

Must be nice for Brenda to know he can't sign who he wants. After Daglish's dreadful expensive signings then maybe once bitten, twice shy.

I dont venture over there mate, too much " arreet arreet calm down calm down " ...<laugh>

Im not sure how much truth is in it, i tend to beleive the premier league owl a bit more but it would make perfect sense in light of the dempsey transfer.
If this were to be true then it gives Brenden a get out clause doesnt it ? "i did the job with one hand tied behind my back "etc, etc .

A very intresting story though. :)

    Bingo!

Some other names we have been linked with we should be going after. Not sure why Rodgers wants to continue to go back and pay over the odds...... again??

It's because he seems terrified of doing his own scouting Bluff!
I hear that Coutinho was signed on the advice of some ex-Man City peeps now working at Anfield. Just when I thought Brenda had actually done some homework...
