They say the Championship is the most difficult division but look at League 1 over the last few seasons. How many 'big' teams have struggled in getting back up? Sheff Utd, Nottingham Forest, Leicester, Leeds, Charlton have all been there recently, (can't remember who, if any of those got promoted at the first attempt though). I actually think the standard between the lower half of the Prem and the top of League 1 is much closer these days.
It took us 2 seasons tho we started ninus 10 in our first and took leeds 3. Think leicester and norwich were first attempt though.
Bloody 'ell, I'd forgotten about Southampton and Norwich. Makes it A LOT of unexpected teams down to the third tier in the last decade.
Yeovil in the Championship will be insane. Hope they make it. I thought they were meant to be punching above their weight when they first got to Division 3.
Serves them right for sacking Wilson. A bit like wolves sack a proven manager thinking you should be higher then give the job to a nobody and nothing changes
