Club needs to take affirmative action. Not really sure I want players that smile whilst playing football representing my club to be honest.

Actually as a punishment I think there should be a one match ban for: cole, lampard, terry, ba, cech, luiz, hazard and mata...that's the view of this impartial reader!

Im still not grasping what he has done wrong yes he smiled but its not like it was a reaction to a red card as it was right after Rafael tried to kick him the red card wasnt show for atleast half a minute after the incident.

As my post on the other thread. Loopy was kicked. OK it didn't hurt, but the rules don't need pain to be a factor. The game is riddled with divers, rollers, squirmer, grimacers, shot to the heart I may never walk again cheats. Did we want Luiz to do that? Roll around in pain holding his undamaged leg? It wasn't his smile as he knew what was going to happen that got Raphael sent off, the kick was enough for that. Maybe he could of kept a neutral face, maybe, could of, but that smile let me know that he isn't playing for just his money, he was playing for his team, our team Chelsea.

As it was fast approaching Fergie-time when it happened I was too distracted with the possibility of 3 points to give this incident much attention when it happened! When it was shown over in post match discussion I must say I felt much as you did dfer!

Its really odd how the newspapers and media are able to twist things to suit Man Utd. Lets look at the actual incident, a player loses his temper and kicks someone in the back of the leg yet somehow the guy who has been kicked is made out as the villain. Its just ****ing bizarre and the worst thing is, everyone is going along with it and criticising Luiz and blaming him.

As has always been the case. Case in point the previous league game against them, when this supposed red card Torres should have had was an excuse for a laughably poor refereeing performance from a laughably poor referee. Their biggest trumpet blowers Sky have already instigated a debate on the "smile". Not sure there would even be as much of an issue had Luiz kicked Rafael with the latter smiling

There was a time when Jonny Evans attempted to kill Didier Drogba.

Yep karate kicked him right in the chest then the ****ing **** of a ref gave Drogba a yellow card for it when Evans should have seen red but funny how we won with a header from a very debatable freekick and the media and Sky completely ignored the fact that United should have been down to 10 men.

Luiz explains all...and shows again what a legend he's becoming.

Luiz was seen to smile after being kicked over by Rafael, but the Brazilian claims he was laughing at the taunts from United fans over his likeness to cartoon character Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons.

"I didn't laugh at Rafa, I laughed to the fans, five seconds after the tackle. I laughed before the red card," insisted Luiz.

"I respect everyone on the pitch and I can laugh when the people sing something for me.

"It's better I laugh than cry, no?"

Maybe he should have done a cantona and kung fu kicked someone in the chest. Just waiting for the rival fans apologies now...
