But now we have promotion, is that good or bad for the Garractysaurus?

am I the ONLY one that wants a build at Melton to go ahead?

You want to take people out of the City of Hull?

What about the businesses that thrive from match-day profits?

You gotta think for the City as a whole.

Besides, it would make it harder for people to get to the Stadium too, possibly affecting attendance.

No-go for me. Has to be upgraded KC.

Anywhere else than the KC can **** off. Would be good if FC ****ed off to somewhere else, maybe build a stadium that would actually be full for every single one of there games, obviously something alot smaller than the KC

I'd love it to go ahead, a 25.5k (23,800?) capacity KC Stadium & Hull Sharks are a millstone around our necks more than ever now we're in the top flight.

Another solution is for the council to let the Allam's buy the KC, and then use the money to build an alternative ground for Hull FC? Let's say a purpose built RL stadium like Rovers. Perhaps off the Hessle Road near the flyover (between Hawthorn Ave and Gypsyville?).

    Outcomes?

    1) Hull City can develop as a club and develop the surrounding area creating employment and facilities etc. The KC could still be used for the international RL games

    2) Hull FC would have a stadium with the fans close to the pitch etc, and given their crowd numbers would have an atmosphere more akin to the old Boulevard days. (And I say that as someone who grew up in a HKR household)

    3) Hull FC would be back in their spiritual home of Hessle Road. The Halfway and other pubs would get resurgence of drinkers, and Hull avoids losing yet more traditional pubs. It might put some life back into that area.

    4) We could put the issue of ground sharing and 'pitch spoiling' finally to bed

    5) It'll be cheaper than building a ground in Melton or wherever else

I'll stand back and await the flack...

Nice one Frisky ...the point is though, whatever anyone thinks of the council is neither here nor there, but at least the council would still own this - albeit new and smaller stadium and of course run it if they wished.

This has got to be a way through the impasse with all honours even and egos massaged. Hey and there might even be a few jobs in the building of it!

    Wow that's a novel idea.

Perhaps you should email papa with that suggestion.

Agree with you 100%, but it was mooted by Papa Allam, so I included it! What's your thoughts on it as an idea?
