Back in the Premier League and we can look forward to rubbing shoulders with the big guns again. Going to Old Trafford, The Bridge and Anfield won't feel the same as it did in our first PL season but it's a fantastic achievement for our club to be playing at those grounds for league matches. So which game(s) are you most looking forward to next season?
I just hope away tickets aren't a free for all again for band wagoners who don't care about our team.
If they stay up, St. James' Park is usually up there. Anfield is always a good one. Goodison Park is one of the best ones as well.
I'm financially limited to short distances usually so I'm gonna try and do all 5 london teams + most likely one of the playoff teams. Possibly southampton, villa...
I've always had a soft sport for Everton and couldn't afford to get to Goodison park last time so i'll definitely be going for tickets to that. I wish there was a local derby to look forward to so that's a bit disappointing. I really want to hammer Arsenal, i can't stand em after the last few times we played them.
Fulham because it's a 5-10 minute walk (plus I can probably get a ticket in the neutral zone if the away end sells out). Watford and Chelsea are also easy to get to. We hardly ever seem to play at Loftus Road these days!
I work in Liverpool now so looking forward to Anfield and Goodison Park, particularly as I've never been to either of them and am surrounded by Liverpool and Everton fans at work.
Popped in to Slug in evening but guess you'd left? I hadn't thought about the limited amount of tickets in the prem. Hope it won't be too hard to get any. For some reason I keep thinking fulham away will be a week night. Just a hunch.
yes I wouldnt want ppl creating an atmosphere, I would rather it be full of old pple cos they are 'real fans', cos we ALL know how loud old ppl are, just look at OLM.. NOISY BASTARD.
One of my best mate's a Norwich fan. We've both always said we'd love us to play each other in the Prem. So I'm praying they stay up - that'll be my main game.
