http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/130509-play-off-information-807388.aspx Don't have much commentary to add, but given how tight the deadlines are for season ticket holders I thought it was worth a thread.
We queued up and got 2 away tickets straight after the match. It was a bit chaotic as some thought it was for the home game as a steward at the front was telling them that. Seems a bit tough to ask for 5 away games today as well and I would have thought it would be better to get it down to 1 away game by bank holiday and get the tickets moving. I saw H and Norway heading down there as well, hope Norway managed to get one as he is still over on Thursday.
seems that you just come back from a successful journey to Leicester, good luck for a repeat performance
They have changed the criteria for away tickets for today - it is ST's with ONE instead of 5 away game...hopefully it will help a few people!
I've been to four home matches this season, with three of them being on my Fan ID card, so I think I'm elegible.
Really pleased for you that you have a season ticket and will be able to see a lot more of WFC. Which ever division we are in you will get some good entertainment, some bad days thrown in, but at least we know that the club are heading in the right direction now. It was stated when the Pozzos bought the club that the aim was to get into the PL in four years. I think we will make that, even if not this season.
Ticket bought...but for the second time out of three I'll be on holiday when we grace Wembley in a play off final. Watched with a gang of Leeds fans in the south of France last time. They left early
More than a bit miffed at having to make a 50 odd mile round trip and a two hour queue to get my home ticket today... HTF does the computer get the day off thus no online sales? A pigging nonsense. Started a new job last week so getting time off to go up to Leicester is out of the question, more's the pity. That is all
I am hearing lots of moans about how hard it is to get the ticketing website to work and the length of time it takes to speak over the phone to the office. Someone said today that there were four people selling tickets to those at the ground and only one on the phone. Not sure if that is true, but if so it is not very clever.
I think one of the issues OFH is that a few people "pay on the door" at away games and so you have to turn up in person with the stubs as they are not in your booking history. So a lot had to get down to The Vic and queue up, so they probably got people onto the ticket desks. I know a couple of people who had to drive down on Sunday morning because of this. Not ideal, but with only a few days and one of them a Sunday and one a Bank Holiday, it was never going to be easy. I expect the remainder of tickets will go tomorrow as it's down to 1 away game.
You are probably right w_y, but people are saying that because of the way that the whole operation is being run they cannot now attend. It also seems that tickets for the home leg are not yet flying out of the window. Maybe some are waiting until they know the result of the first leg, but it would be sad if the crowd was down on last Saturday.
I think it's likely that the crowd will be down on Saturday, unless we get a very good result on Thursday. Also STH had until today to claim their seat, so now it's totally open. I would expect around 14,000 on Sunday.
