Buttner's nowhere near a finished article but he's got time, as Evra is still ok. We already got Young, Zaha and Valencia, add to that Giggsy, Kagawa and Welbeck, so imo wings are covered. One certain necessity is a midfielder, best if we sign two as Cleverly isn't certain to command a starting place next season too. So 2 CM and one wingback is my suggestion.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...d-as-PSG-join-hunt-for-Cristiano-Ronaldo.html I konw it's not reliable but I think there might be some truth in this. It seems SAF is potentially wanting to show Rooney the door (subbed in the last 5 games & dropped at home to RM ) to potentially free up some wages ? I'd love to see Ronaldo back at United
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...ex-Ferguson-reveals-work-on-new-signings.html http://www.football-italia.net/33683/man-utd-target-marchisio Is this guy all that
Don't rate him much nor Juve. He's already old and not much of an exceptional talent either, so in United's context, this signing doesn't make sense.
Marchisio was brilliant in the Euro's for Italy but there aren't too many Italians that have done well in the Premier League, certainly not recently. Zola, Ravenelli and Vialli are about all I can think of and they were all over a decade ago. Edit: other than Dossena, Aquilani and Borini of course
Manchester United: No need for lots of signings says new chief http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22385277 I only think that we need one or two more signings anyway, but I'm hoping that any signing is significant, especially in CM.
We rarely make lots of signings anyway. Even over the last few years when competing with City and Chelsea's money it has usually been one or two big signings and a few youngsters with promise for the future. I don't see much being different this season, although hopefully with one of the big signings in midfield like you say.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-want-jurgen-klopp-1866268 either him or Jose
I think Jose is only ever going to go to Chelsea. I quite like Klopp, he can certainly put a decent side together. The difference between the two leagues and also between United and Dortmund suggests that the transition could be tough, but I do think he would be worth a punt. I would still like to see youth being given a chance irrespective of who comes in and Klopp certainly seems to tick that box.
In an ideal world, what sort of transfer activity would you like to see this summer? Here's mine: Out: Anderson, Nani/Valencia, Büttner (loan), Scholes (ret.), Machaeda In: Wanayama/Strootman/Sven Bender/Lars Bender, Ronaldo/Bale, new RB as cover/competition Obviously the Bale or Ronaldo transfer is highly unlikely, but stranger things have happened. Can't really see Fletcher ever coming bak either, which is quite sad. I'd also like to see Kagawa tried out at CM.
Sir Alex said today that "everything is in place for a big signing" and praising Galzers ... is it CR or Bale?
Either way, Jose and United are a no match. Klopp on the other hand, looks like an interesting prospect. But I guess,Solskjaer is ahead of them in the list. In terms of signings, I would rather prefer someone like Yaya or any top class team player than CR7 or Bale. Look at the strikers at both Madrid and Spurs, all of them are sterile and we don't want to be a one-man team.
Out: Anderson, Nani, Scholes, Bebe In: Ronaldo, Bale, Schweinsteiger, Yaya, Baines Well you did say an ideal world
