Its fair enough m8,funny how the big sides had to save the little ragged arsed teams.Palace saved wall,and Leeds saved dull.

 

I agree - Palace winning saved us from being 4th from bottom - a position no team would want - except the teams in the bottom 3 of course.

Just got to go back to the Wallies peformance against Wigan, was men v's boys, and Wigan struggle every year, not a lot down for anyone thats gets promotion from this league, unless you get a Man City owner and buy your way into the Prem and stay there.

That's one of the two favours returned that they owed us as we saved them from going down in 10/11 by beating two of their relegation rivals that season, they still owe us and we have long memories - something which you can relate too!

My brother spent saturday afternoon drinking in a pub with a Palace mate of his watching events unfold, come the end of proceedings my brother insisted on buying the drinks for Palace doing us a favour to which the bloke accepted gratefully, after a few more drinks my brother realised that Palace hadn't saved us at all, Huddersfield had and it was his round as from then on.
