Sadly, you're probably right. Had Giggs just ran back and got into position we wouldn't be having this conversation. Why would couldn't Webb have just given both Rafael an Giggs a yellow, ill never know. At least the red card had no impact on the outcome of the game, and it won't have an effect on the outcome of the season.
True but that was the risk he took, make a rash kick in anger hoping you'd get some of the ball to get away with it but knowing you were going to kick the opponent regardless, you're going to get sent off for violent conduct when you miss the ball. When you look at other acts of aggression like slapping a player, leaning your head in and other fairly minor incidents that are drawing red cards then Rafael's kick out at an opponent isn't even a maybe, red everyday of the week.

I bit strange for me, but I'm not worked up over Loopy smiling on the floor. I mean he was kicked and maybe it didn't hurt that much, but he had just owned Raphael and are we saying that Loopy should of faked pain and rolled around in pretend agony? He didn't dive. To misinterpret his smiling is to either be so estranged to human nature as not to be human or to deliberately mislead others as to what you want them to believe, which to me is just plain lying and irrevocably damage one's reputation for veracity.

Fact is we've beaten you 3/5 and your only win from those was gifted to you by officials. Beaten your best team, 2nd team and "reserves".
We know we will have to play a lot better than that on Wednesday but that was us at nowhere near our best, which makes the result even better
