At last a sensible appraisal! This is football not the WWF. He scored a goal, he celebrated- who gives a **** we're promoted...... Such a sensible post could only come from a man who wears brut & drinks Stella!!
IMO Campbell is Premier League forward. A lot of his games in the Premier League have been wide. I think if Campbell gets a full season playing upfront he'll score 10+ goals.
I don't blame him for celebrating like that, he got some stick and he dished it out in return. His goal was annoying though- everyone knew he would as well. He always bleedin scored against us.
The thing is, boo a player like Fraizer Campbell on a big occasion, it's going to egg' him on to score isn't it? We should have clapped him and showed respect. After all, he did score 15 goals for us and set up Dean Windass's famous volley at Wembley didn't he? So what if his dad managed to persuade him to go to Tottenham and Sunderland instead of us. His dad is the one we should boo, not Fraizer. Anyway, he payed respects to us via Twitter and said something along the lines of "Congratulations Hull, even if they did give me stick. That's football I guess" (not word-for-word).
Some quality comments from quality fans. Good to have you joining us in the Prem - let's hope FC doesn't upset too many on here next season...... If we both stay up, we'll have done well.
