Don't think we'll see FC next season. Cardiff have a large transfer kitty, stated to be 30 million, so expect he'll be loaned out to a Championship club.
Fraizer's a great Championship striker, but he's not good enough for the Premier League. 7 goals in 70 games in the Premier League is only acceptable if you're a centre back.
Pathetic, eh? FC summed it up nicely on twitter last night "An also happy that the tigers will b up there. Dispite the stick/banter they gave me to today. All fun an games!!" Too many on here enjoy giving stick, but cant take receiving it back.
Anyone that didn't expect Fraizer to score when he came on must have there heads buried firmly in the sand, it was the most predictable part of the script yesterday. I was pissed off at the time, not because it was him that had scored it, just at the fact that we'd conceded, and, as someone else rightly said, what do people expect, the more flack that they give him, the more goals he'll score against us as the boy has undoubted quality. One more thing, if, as someone has suggested, Fraizer isn't PL quality then I fear for our current strike force next season as, IMHO, he is head and shoulders above any striker that we currently have on our books.
That's because, with the exception of Aluko, we don't have any Premier League quality strikers. Though neither do Cardiff.
Is Aluko proven PL quality then Lambo? I obviously hope that he is but we are surely yet to find out.
Not yet proven, but I think he'll look completely at home in the Premier League. Fryatt might be alright as a squad player, but I expect all our other strikers to be gone in the summer.
Why couldn't FC's dad have said "Fraizer has received a few offers and we will sit down and evaluate what is best for him and his career." instead of "Don't worry, Fraizer only wants to play for Hull City, he will sign as soon as he returns from holiday" and stringing us all along to the point where other potential targets were missed? That's why he's disliked- the way his old man deceived the management of our club about FC's intentions for weeks on end.
Agro - I can understand that would be enough to piss any ardent club supporter off. What I don't get is the reaction to his so called "goal celebrations" from a minority on here particularly as it was irrelevant in the end due the the respective results meaning you were joining us in the Prem. For Christ's sake, if his goal had been the winner and Watford had got a point, sounds like some of you lot would have put a bloody contract out on him......
7 in 70 in the PL for Fraizer is misleading, he spent a lot of games playing on the wing and also there's a lot of short sub appearances in there.
I'm afraid we have a few thin-skinned supporters who indulge in the pantomime villain scenario. I am immune to the FC one but Neil Warnock and Paddy Kenny get under my skin FC is a great Championship striker- as you now know. We thought he was our secret back in 2008 and were gutted when he got away. We might still be in the Prem now if we'd managed to get him then. As it is, we'd have been promoted weeks ago with him in the team.
The nasty man made fun of us when he scored. FFS grow a pair ladies. You give stick, you get it back. Show some respect, you get it back. Some of the posts on this subject are truly laughable and embarrassing in equal measure.
Look guys - let's talk football and not personalities. Though it seems Fraizer's been around and talked about for ages, he's only 25 years old now, He was only a kid when he was with you and still wet behind the ears, but he was a very good player even then. His time with Spurs and Sunderland was wasted energy - he certainly wasn't rated by MON. He arrived with us very unfit and in need of some hard work from him and our sports science staff. In the short time he's been with us, I've noticed a big change in his physical presence since those earlier days. He's developed into a strong lad and can mix it far more these days than I remember him doing in the past. To say he wasn't prolific in his younger days in the Prem is fair, but very narrow minded if you're projecting that level into the future. Time will tell, but the feeling is the best of FC is yet to come.
I can't recall MON having any better strikers than him. For his goal yesterday, he passed it into the net- one sure touch, no need to control it. Simplicity itself (when done by an expert).
Can't disagree with any of that, and as I recall Fraizer's dad twatted us about because we had a management that allowed it to happen. Could you really see Steve Bruce being twatted about in a similar fashion?
