6 clean sheets in 10 now. But also 4 draws in our last 5!

If (when) we finish below Everton it's our fault.

We'll miss no nonsense like that from these two.

Loved Carra popping up with the Suarez reminder there lol

Hopefully with Suarez out and sturridge being such a passenger at times it will force us to look at a new forward player this summer

Good to see Henderson continuing to play well, he had a bit of everything in the first half and still played some decent stuff despite the apparent physicality of the game. It looked as if Sturridge really didn't fancy being the lone man, wasn't really disciplined enough which in turn meant we didn't retain possession well, Everton came for the draw and their tactics were spot on to get it.

Downing? Well what more can I say about him which hasn't already been said, he offers very little other than balance. Even his backwards passing is starting to let him down and I would rather see Spearing play LW ahead of him.

I'd rather we doubled Carra's pay and played him there in place of him....... 5 times during that match I went to rant about Downing and found I couldn't find any new words to describe how much I don't want him in the shirt.

Don't get me wrong he's not all that's wrong with this side but he epitomises what IS wrong.....

Oh well not the end of the world.

Just want the season to end now so we can re-group, invest and have a crack next year.

If we can win our last two games and get to the 60 point mark I feel as if that'll be a good marker to build on for next season, huge if though as we don't have the best record away to Fulham.

  13. Felliani best get retrospective punishment for at least one of the forty-seven elbows he threw today!

No complaints on result but fortunate no to have lost considering there was nothing wrong with their disallowed goal. Makes up for the offside for us in tge 2-2 in October (?)

One of the most atrocious games I've seen. Coutinho was good yet again though.

You're star forward dives and bites people and you lot are crying about a few elbows???

Distain's good goal being dissallowed should chear you up though or at least stop you mumping about St Luis phantom offside goal...Both bean cheated out of a win now<cheers>

And don't gripe about EFC's style of play I mean after all you're not good enough to beat It are you which surely means you are NO BETTER<laugh>

Poor game today as BOTH teams were poor

  16. Does that make elbowing right then? <doh>

agree about both sides being cheated out of a win. Should both be a point better off but I don't suppose that really matters <ok>

I was so disappointed in our play safe hoofing rubbish. if we are supposedly going to play a passing game then today is a prime day to stick to principle. we did not, we had no quality to pass it about and so looked distinctly everton lite. Everton have big men to hodl it and pace out wide. they play it long as thier game plan... doing the same is only ever playing into their hands.

finally glen johnson... WTF. i am sick of seeing him falling over the ball or letting it our of play. he's ****e for 2 months, get him off.

Agree that Johnson has been strangely bad the last couple of months, to be fair though he is over lapping Downing. I don't see no reason to not let Wisdom get a bit of game time, he hasn't done much wrong when he has played, and their's a valid excuse to play him seeing as Johnson has been below par.

It's clear that we find it very tough to play against the more direct team, players like Downing, Johnson and Lucas don't look to confident in tight spaces when surrounded, opposed to players like Gerrard, Coutinho and Enrique who always try to keep calm and pass, knowing where their man is before the ball has even come to them.

As for the game, Everton didn't really create anything from open play but they didn't really need to when you know how bad we are at defending set pieces, and the goal probably should of stood.

Noticed there's no Astroturfnaut on here he likes to compare Everton to Stoke wonder what he thinks about LFC playing like Stoke lol<yikes>

@Gerrez No It doesn't make elbowing right but I have not seen the elbow's or the game I have been on the Motorway all day :emoticon-0108-speec

Shame the games between us mean nothing these days tbh maybe that's why they have dipped In recent seasons??

As it's been said, both teams were poor and 0-0 probably the correct result.

Ref was a bit inconsistent to be honest, tried to keep his cards in his pocket and be lenient but was then strict for the dissalowed goal (it was a push on Carragher and could have gone either way) but then was far too lenient on Fellaini when there was one blatent elbow on Skrtel and then 2 raised arms against Gerrard & Agger (funny how none of those 3 players went down though and not 1 free kick was given).

Everton were happy with a draw knowing that it means we're highly unlikely to overtake them now, and we just struggled to break them down and when we did, fluffed the 2 decent chances we had.
