Town Linked To CARL SKUSE & KEVIN DOYLE

Skuse the Bristol City Captain has been strongly linked with us and some suggest that a deal has already been done! Most likely a replacement for N'Daw in the Centre of Midfield. Elsewhere Kevin Doyle is also being strongly linked so the Summer transfer roller coaster is now in full throttle!

Is Skuse any good???

 

Don't know to much about skuse. He has chipped in with fairly vital goals,not so much this season but over couple before. He wouldn't be a bad acquisition but championship us his level. The right noises are coming out from club and jay tabb and the judge rumour to us picking up speed.

 

Seems like Mick is getting everything sorted before his holidays...............

 

Doyle is highly overrated. He would just be another striker who doesn't score regularly enough and we have enough of those already.
Skuse could bring something into midfield though.

 

Edit.
With nine goals after 245 starts and 62 subs appearances he doesn't seem to be the kind of attacking midfielder we're really looking for.

 

He will be a straight replacement for N'Daw

 

Then I hope Mick is going to find two outstanding wingers if he wants to play a solid midfield.

 

Mick knows what he wants and I have every confidence in him to get the quality players in that we need. I am much more relaxed now that we have Mick in charge.

 

I also have faith in Mick mate.
Doesn't mean I will follow every decision blindly though.
I wouldn't bitch about Skuse signing but can't say I'm really keen on Doyle being brought in.

 

One thing we all seem to have in common is faith in MM. If he can get his business done early on we can go thru pre season with a fair idea of the first team. Preparation is key and there is an air of confidence going into the summer

 

It will be nice if we can actually land our targets instead of missing out and having to scrape the barrel for the dregs. I don't think this will happen with Mick though.

 

Anyone that joins us should be given a fair crack imo....

 

True, still doesn't mean I have to be delighted if Doyle joins though.

Oo er missus. Lol. With wolves down how about Jamie O ' hara. Another name to throw in the mix.

 

Good shout mad ads. Don't know how he's been playing lately but he caught the eye a couple of years ago.

 

He's had a couple of injury problems I believe but the boy got talent. And I think I'm right in saying MM initially had him at wolves on loan from spurs.

 

I dont know much about Skuse either but hes just got to be better than Wordsworth, he was useless yesterday offering nothing in a defensive midfield role and even less when trying to get forward.
