Just saw the celebration on TFLS. Wow. Just wow. Un. bel. ievable. You really are a bunch of over sensitive, menstruating fairies. Bleating about THAT when you just got promoted, rather than celebrating?! Crazy.
Talking about the menstruating ones, they did come on a bit strong , but were rightly put in their place by many others on here. No time for recriminations about history although some still appear to be smarting about it - let's all just enjoy the moment.
For me i couldn't give a toss for the celebration. I think for a lot of fans it that fact he is well loved here and turned us down many times that's pissed us off. And he really wanted to win the game when there was nothing in it for him or the club to do so! That's how i see it
Im only playing lads, kind of. Chill out, enjoy the moment and forget about him! Good luck for 36 of next years games. Oh ps. WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE
Yeah , tho i wasnt one of those moaning rather than celebrating yesterday , i dont think the Cardiff fans on here understand the "History" between Campbell and our club . That his is a hero to many and seemingly turned down joining the club on a few occasions , stringing us along for a whole window at one point will stick in the troat with some . There have been many players score at ex clubs , but heros tend to be classy about how they go about it . He is STILL a city hero but you will never see him uttered on here as a target again thats for sure. Now back to the piss up , ive got a curry/bbq party to organise !
Shame on FC for trying to win a game. Whatever was he thinking. I just don't know what goes on in the minds of these footballers. Sober now.
I didn't think his celebration was OTT. It's not as if he ran towards the East Stand to gloat. It's all in the past now - time to move on.
We really only had one realistic chance of signing FC which was immediately after promo in 2008. We made the "eye-watering" offer to Man Utd, but he was their player and ended up as the makeweight in the Berbatov transfer. THAT was when we should have signed him because even he fully expected to be sold to us. The subsequent moves to Sunderland and Cardiff where just a player making moves to clubs that he perceives as having better prospects than us at the time. The money is what the buying club is prepared to offer him you would be daft not to take it. He scored a goal for his team and celebrated after being booed and jeered. Probably the only way he can respond. Is he supposed to ask to not play against us? Was hardly Dean Marneyesque was it? You could have put your house on him scoring yesterday - he scores goals, that's what he does. Even Brucie looked to the sky and seemed to think 'Frazier ****ing Campbell' when he scored. We got promoted and he was a bit part in the drama. That's all.
Yes and when i rip my heart out and have no passion for my club i will feel exactly the same way and look at it with a more sensible view
Think you missed the boat on this one mate, we had this out yesterday. Good luck to all you lot next season
i had a little chuckle myself when he did it tbf, our fans booed him like a set of ****s and chanted abuse at him. what do you expect? move on ffs and he wouldn't of done it (i hope). hes still a **** and his dad, but he deserves to go on and have a good career, hes got bags of talent imo!!
