We lost today through sheer bad luck - I would challenge any team to lose their first choice keeper in the warm up and then the second a few minutes into the match and have to play someone who was expecting to watch the game not in the squad to then be able to play to their best.

I can take losing - even when it is bad luck - that is life. Doesn't have to make you happy though does it?

We will lose in the play-offs I think too - to Leicester no doubt

I don't know where I gathered my stream from, but I really could not believe that the ref could have missed that first half penalty. Immediate reaction here was that the defender would get a straight red, the replays showed from different angles confirmed that it should have been. It might have or not changed the entire course of the game, but I did hope for a decent ref, and this guy was a clown. I do not often have a go at them as I think they have a hard time, but even Jon Marks who takes the same line thought that this guy had lost it.

Except your keeper was barely worked and was only at fault for one of the two goals. It wasn't Bonham's fault your defender failed to clear and it wasn't Bonham's fault that Deeney got sent off. Granted, another keeper might have saved McCormack's effort, but another keeper wouldn't have been off his line and he'd have made the run alone and taken the chance differently. You can't blame the entire outcome of the game on bad luck about losing your keeper when your keeper made little to no impact on the game. You lost because your team were not good enough and couldn't deliver on the day.

If you seriously believe the team is not affected by the knowledge that they are "carrying" a novice in goal then you simply confirm you know nothing about football. But i guess as a Leeds fan that needed no confirming

Hell - why am I engaging with this moron - he is not typical really of Leeds fans - just the ones who posted here today mostly

Maybe affects your defenders but doesn't excuse your forward players for being terrible and doesn't excuse Troy Deeney making a dirty reckless challenge and getting himself sent off.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

It'd be less upsetting if you just accepted you lost fair and square instead of bitching and moaning and letting bitterness dictate your reaction. If you accepted this "dirty Leeds" tag only exists in your imagination you might have an easier time accepting that your team lost because they were crap on the day.

Ignore the troll, guys.

Cretin for a manager and cretin players.

That's Leeds for you.

<ok>

You are aware you've got Troy Deeney right?

How can you justify comments like that when your team has just had a dirtier game than Leeds, even when the game wasn't even dirty?

What on earth goes through your brain to make you think the way you do? Is bitterness really dictating your thoughts that much? You should really get a handle on that.

Watford, don't think you'll necessarily lose the play off with Leicester. I understand they had only a very slim chance of making the play off, and have if you like sneaked in the back door, but if you can keep it goaless at the Walkers stadium, you'll beat em at home comfortably.

The hard part will be regrouping

Don't engage with him. Leeds always have been dirty and always will be. Hull and Cardiff fans have been great to chat with but it seems some Leeds fans are like their team and club - foul mouthed and dirty - stupid and ignorant too - we suffer two blows to our goalkeepers and play a guy who has not played a first team game before in a crucial game when he had no expectation of playing and he things we should be playing great footbball. Forget him and his team - they are a typical ex-big club - their fans still think they are Man U rivals

So many of the old cliches in there lol

The majority of Leeds fans have been fairly good natured on here today, but some of the bitterness from Watford is laughable. Anyway the result stands, and we played reasonably well.

so was ekstrands push on poleon moments later. Your argument is completely invalid. If one is causing dangerous play, then both are. You don't have a leg to stand on, your team lost because they weren't good enough on the day, and shot themselves in the foot on several occasions. No other reason. You have no basis to blame the ref or leeds or anything other than your own team's incompetence and inability to deliver when it matters.

ekstrand's wasn't deliberate, he brushed past him, it was an accident.

I am aware, so are lots of other clubs he helped destroy, including yours.
