This isn't all about today, he's ripped the life out of our players, he's beaten the want to attack from them, I'll pack his suit case for him and drive the twat to where ever he wants to go to, just as long as he ****ing goes !
We should have been safe several games ago, to be in this position is a joke, and I'm not laughing much now !

Errr, no. Sorry but to say that is a bizzare idea is the nicest thing I can say. I understand why you and many others are so angry and disillusioned at Hughton but remember Wolves and Terry Connor?

Not all Hughtons fault for this game but it is for most of the rubbish, negative football we have played this season. Agree that we should get rid of him and bring in Neil Adams. NA may only be until end of season but at least he couldn't do much worse, IMO he could add a bit of attacking know how. Listening to scores coming in I've not felt as angry in a long time because we should never have been in this position if properly managed. Until today I was still prepared to give Hughtons benefit of doubt and give him the summer to rebuild and prove himself in first half of next season. Now I think that he would acquire good players but manage to drain the life out of them, the result being another season of dire football and relegation (if not already). Now have to rely on others to slip up because can't see us getting any more points this season, not being negative, just realistic!

Great minds think alike, I tweeted exactly that a few minute ago. How anyone can defend that useless gibbering twat now is beyond me. He can **** off back to London and stay there ! 2 wins in nearly 20 games is a ****ing joke I want him out of my club and out of my City now. I'll even pay his ****ing taxi fare <grr>

I swear in a previous life, he was a Dementor from Harry Potter world. He sucks the life, happiness, attacking ability, defensive ability, goalkeeping ability, positivity, joy of watching our beloved club out of this world

Totally agreed. We should have been safe a very long time ago, but we put in some pathetic performances. But why is all the negativity come out now after we showed ALOT of improvement and a positive performance?!? It seems counter-intuitive to me!

It's not that we lost this individual game, which I think was slightly unfortunate. It is the fact that we did not try to win many many games before this because Hughton is totally, utterly negative. We were lucky to have a great first half of the season and we should NOT have been in the position where this game was do or die. But Hughton was unable to change his mindset after that great run and his mindset has put us where we are now. I am sick of his negativity and his total lack of any kind of flexibility or adaptability. He has destroyed almost three years of great work by the club. The sooner he goes, the better.

Because past failing meant that today only the result mattered. You can argue we played alright and that Villa should have had Benteke and Bennet sent off, but then we shouldn't have had a penalty and ultimately we didn't get any points and a relegation rival got 3.

Its called being upset. I don't understand how you aren't livid. The let downs this season are mounting. Luton at home in the Cup. Villa at home in League Cup and now another, basically, Cup game that just wanted winning. Its his job to make the decisions and he has made too many wrong ones since Christmas.

I wouldnt mind seeing this result and performance say 8 or 9 games ago as the performance would have set a benchmark to go on from but it sets us up for 1 more game that we can win and if we dont, then the writing is on the wall!

I was livid after the Stoke game and all the others, but I feel if we play like that in our other two games we should be safe.

Because we showed "a lot" of improvement and we still lost! Just shows how shocking we were before!

That is actually a good question <ok>

Maybe CH is totally incompetent but I will give him 8-10 games next season (in the PL or Championship) to prove himself. My expectations will be very high in August, our style of play must be better and more convincing and I think I am being generous compared to a good number of fans (he's taking a pasting on Canary Call at times btw)

You obviously know nothing about the beautiful game and it's tactics and strategies etc...

Hughton's a great Budgie manager, up there with the best! <laugh>
