For me the season has ended positively, ok so no points today but we went into the game safe, did not think that would be the case going through the winter months. Also we have a man in charge we can support and can look forward to next season. Well done Cresswell every minute of every game, a fine achievement
With you mighty horse. The last 4 months have seen massive improvement and given us something to build on and look forward to next season with some degree of optimism. Ok disappointed to not get anything today but it was a nothing game. Well done cressy. Some achievement. You are the future. And a massive well done to MM and TC for saving our great club and after so many years giving us all hope and something to look forward to.
I was busy writing a 'we finished top half' thread until the Derby result and Leeds. Scrapped that though.
This is dependant on stearman staying. Mings is still a bit of an unknown quantity tho isn't he? Cressy could certainly pull off a winger position. He's got a hint of Gareth bale about him.
Nevermind the Town result, irrelevant. I'm glad I didn't spend £100 on a round trip and stayed in to watch things unfold at the top and the bottom. My heart goes out to that kid in goal for Watford. I will be rooting for them in the play offs, Zola is a God.
Well happy to finish the season in 14th considering where we were at the beginning of November. Hopefully, next season will be about challenging for a play-off spot and though this league will probably be as competitive as ever, I think that is a realistic goal under Mick. p.s commiserations to the Posh finishing on 54 pts and still going down to league one just underlines the crazy competitive nature of the championship.
The budgies must be on the verge of falling off their perches. Well done villa. And Wigan. Still a slim chance of a derby game next season.
