There is a lot of talk about Pulis transfer targets?, ive read them in the paper and on the internet etc, I can only think that he must be staying next season and not going like a lot of us hoped. Please give me some information for me to think otherwise as I cant cope with another seasone of crap, negative football
Let's just hope it is all paper talk Ricc. I honestly think the situation has gone too far, the old snowball effect. I do not believe for one moment that the Coates family are completely out of touch with reality! The reality is, once the press and other media get their collective teeth into a story, imaginary or not, usually the manager's time is up. On the other hand........AAAAGGGGHHHH more Laudenum
Dont you think it could be some kind of smoke screen. All week people and the press have been asking the question whether pulis will stay. By letting a few so called transfer targets leak out takes the spot light off his future for a few days at least till after mondays game. I could be wrong of course but I hope not for all are sakes
Could very well be RAW, but realistically I cannot see how he can stay on. But when has football ever been realistic? If and it is a big if, we are mathematically safe for the 150th Anniversary at the home game against Spurs, then THAT would be the ideal time for Pulis to say goodbye, perhaps leave with a touch of graciousness, which he has not always shown.
Well I'm constantly being told by "supposed" people in the know that it's Mourinho to Chelsea and Rafa to us with Pulis taking over from Rudgie. I think the Coates family rift situation will see this has a compromise. Pete Coates gets to keep Pulis the lap dog should he need to step in and save us at anytime and the Coates siblings get a manager that can take us forward and win stuff. I'd be happy with that arrangement too!
I've said this all along.. PULIS do not CARE what the fans think or say and I think? to some extent what those player's who have sadly come and gone! He only has one idea in that thick skull of his. We must not LOSE. We need a more forward thinking Manager and we need him before next season. I guarantee he will go into the Sunderland game looking for a pt or rather, not to lose. And Stokie lad of course you are still a fan a supporter... like me I guess you do not support what Pulis brings to the table? Or the pitch. IF he stays there will be a significant DROP in season ticket sales.. the FACT he is still here has already shown this.
I think with Parson being sacked and Coates talking about the same issues not happening next season - TP is staying! For me that would be a disgrace bit it's a personal opinion!
Well if he's staying... I will find something else to occupy me on a Saturday. And it will no doubt help my B.P. to come down a few notches. NOT sure which is worse. Sitting there hoping we play well and get something from the games. or... Listening on the radio. I will just be happy to tune in at 5 pm and look at the scores. NOT sure? how much it would cost me IF I end up renewing but IF Pulis left it would be money well spent. The more I read and listen to... the more I am convinced that PULIS is going nowhere. (headbang) Just a quick question for you Stokies on here. IF the worst happens and we go DOWN. Do you think Pulis would be SACKED?
He is going RIP and so is Uncle Peter. I was told this just a few minutes ago, by a chum whose daughter works with a man whose brother works for the GPO who overheard on a crossed line from a woman who works in a fish and chip shop in Hanley who heard 2 customers talking about a friend of theirs who mows the lawn for a chap who works for.Radio Stoke who on a phone-in....must be true eh?
