You clearly do NOT understand the rules. Explain to me how, if this were a loophole, the FL not only allows it but also goes out of its way to define foreign loans as transfers - that could not happen by accident - it is clearly what the FL chose to do - so it is not a mistake - a loophole - waiting to be fixed. Of course they can change any rule they like and if they do then fine but don't pretend you understand the rules when you don't. We will see if they want to change the rules next year won't we?

In January the club were being charged with irregularities due to the actions of a former owner. He was found guilty and we have been stopped from making signings until the end of the season without FL prior approval. We were going to sign the loan players we want in January so I guess that was the reason why we did not - is that a good enough explanation for you?

and finally we get to the nub of your argument - "you just don't agree with it". That is fine - you have your opinion but keep it as that and don't pretend we broke any rules. If you are looking for rule breaking go back to your own club's past and see why you were deducted points. Perhaps you like clubs buying rather than borrowing players and racking up massive losses that endanger the club's whole existence. OUr model is just better

I see that people are shredding yellow pages to make ticker tape for tomorrow. Should be a great atmosphere. Will get my voice tuned up tomorrow morning, lucky socks on, Bordeaux will be at the ready and the phone taken off the hook.

 

I am feeling quite calm, all things considered.....early night with just a couple of glasses of wine to relax with. Looking forward to finishing that bottle off with many more tomorrow...

We've just got to go out tomorrow and play like we know we can and get our three points. At least we're not then kicking ourselves whatever happens at Hull. Think the atmosphere should be one of the best in recent times at the Vic. Leaving nice and early to give myself plenty of big-match build-up time. Let's get behind the boys and make sure we get the result we need, and hopefully hear the news we want from Hull.
